Happy New Year to everyone in the world.

The New Year is to celebrate opening a new chapter in your life or the turn over a new leaf. One thing most people do not know about the New Year is that the New Year shows us that we are one more year closer to death.

In 2010, I have officially became thirteen and became a teenager. In 2011, I am going to be fourteen.

One of the most key parts in the New Year Celebrations is the Resolutions that we make. In 2009, I had no Resolutions. This year, I have one Resolution. That is to become Vegetarian. I think that will be a blast!

I wonder what are everyone else's Resolutions? I hope they keep to it.

I wish for every sentient being to have a nice, long and stable lifetime for 2011!

Rinpoche has written a blog post about his new years wishes here:

Happy 2011!

There has been a battle between Mac and PC. I will share the differences between the Mac and PC. Lets analyze every factor that is important within a computer.

(I am writing about the Desktops)

1. Speed

Mac: Very fast in browser opening speed, faster internet, faster booting up.

PC: Slow in browser opening speed, slower internet, slow booting up.

One point for Mac.

2. Weakness against viruses

Mac: Minimal. The bad part is you cannot buy pirated software.

PC: Maximal. The good part is that you can buy pirated software.

One point for Mac.

3. Looks

Mac: Very snazzy and cool. It really improves at a monumental rate each time there is a new model.

PC: Very big and Bulky. New models remind me of the old Macintosh.

One point for Mac.

4. Size of computer

Mac: Most models these days do not even have an external CPU anymore. Easier for transport if you are movie house or bringing your Mac to a workshop or to your office. One power cable is enough.

PC: Heavy external CPU. Not good for transport. Too many wires.

One Point for Mac.

AND THE WINNER IS....

Of course, the Mac.

What can be worse than a PC?

The answer would be a Mac running on Windows. All of the PC's bad qualities will be inputed into the sleek design of the Mac.

Yesterday and today, I have been watching a lot of Rinpoche's videos on Youtube. Today, I am going to write about my thoughts about some of the videos.

1. Don't embarrass the Buddhas

Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkICMrNG78M

Description: The Most UNLIKELY Dharma Talk.

It is enough, stop embarrassing the Buddhas and the lamas...

My thoughts: I think it is a very funny Dharma talk. I will not give up when things go down anymore. Why? Because if you keep on feeling down , you cannot practise Dharma. No one wants to be near any one who treats others badly.

2. FUNNIEST Dharma Video!

Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wK-OclDBfx0

My thoughts: It is extremely hilarious but it is totally true. Lama Tsongkhapa is very peaceful. I really am confused when people think that Setrap is scary. I have went to Indian temples before. There I have seen even scarier gods than Setrap. I love Tsongkhapa. I have a Tsongkhapa Statue at home and a few Tsongkhapa Tsa Tsas too.

MUMU BONUS: MUMU GOES BYE BYE

link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUTaA3dUJWs

My thoughts: Mumu cute!

By the way, if you like the videos or you want to see more of Mumu, go to Rinpoche's Blog (Click Here)!
Today, it rained extremely heavily. There was a lot of lightning. As one could already have figured out from the title of this blog post, a blackout occurred.

I was really freaked out. I ducked and buried my head in pillows in panic as I have not faced this situation before in my life. The situation was that there was a blackout and I was home alone.

After panicking for a moment, I quickly ran outside. I bumped a lot into my sofa as it was pitch black. It was during this time I scorned that this house used tinted windows as it was not that dark outside but it was pitch black inside the house as if someone forced my eyes shut.

I chanted OM MAHA YACHA TSA SOHA as I ran outside of the house and then I called Mama to ask for help.

Luckily, she knew how to turn the electricity back on. It was just a flip of a switch.

I felt that by chanting Setrap's mantra I have gained confidence to navigate through the house in the dark despite my great fear of darkness.

TRON: LEGACY

Uncle Wee Liang took me out to see Tron in Gold Class. Gold Class is very nice and comfortable. Instead of a tiny chair, the Gold Class has recliners that come with blankets. You do not have to bring your drinks or popcorn in but instead a waiter comes in and gives you them.

Here is the wikipedia page for TRON for more info:

Tron is a very interesting movie as it has a lot of cool battle scenes and great music. The best part about Tron is that they refer to Buddhism not once but twice.

The first time is when the phrase, "taking yourself out of the equation" is said by Quorra when in Flynn's house in the grid. Taking yourself out of the equation means selflessness and selflessness is one of the good qualities we must possess according to Buddhism.

The second Buddhist thing that is mentioned is meditation as Flynn seems to meditate at every second when there is no fighting in the movie. Meditation is a method to achieve inner peace with oneself.

SUCK

Here is the wikipedia link for SUCK :

Suck is a movie that was recommended by Rinpoche. It reminded me of a straight version of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. It is a rock band turned vampire. i am still analyzing the movie to look for some Dharma within it. It is an honest Canadian comedy. You will get a lot of laughs from it Suck parodies many of the popular stances by famous singers such as the Beatles when they are crossing the street.

One of my favourite parts in the movie is that when the bass player who is a vampire is hungry, she is told to go suck on a cow by the roadside. I just thought that was pretty funny.

THANK YOU UNCLE WEE LIANG FOR THE GOLD CLASS TICKET TO TRON!!!!!!!!
This morning, I woke up a bit earlier as I was going to go with Uncle Wee Liang and the two Matthews to swim at the Selangor sports club. It was very nice. I managed to swim a lot but I now got sunburn.

Later, we went to play badminton. It was so fun. I played so hard. I nearly felt like I was going to pass out but it was a really good workout.

After that, Uncle Wee Liang and I picked up Uncle Wee Liang's dog, Bimbo from the pet grooming salon.

Then, we went to Boathouse for dinner. At Boathouse, they have a great vegetarian Lasagna.

Uncle Wee Liang is a really great guy. He always takes time out of his busy life to take care of the young Kecharians or Kecharians who are young at heart.

I really want to thank you Uncle Wee Liang for caring so much about me and all of the Kecharians.
This is my 100th post. I thought it would be great to put something meaningful where everyone can learn something.

Today's post will be about the Eight auspicious signs and the seven royal emblems.

First, I am going to write about the Eight auspicious signs.

These are the Eight Auspicious Signs.

The top left to right are as follows: Parasol, Twin Fishes, Treasure vase, Lotus
The bottom left to right are as follows: Conch Shell, Longevity/Eternal Knot, Victory Banner, Dharma Wheel.

I am going to explain them one at a time.

The Parasol represents spiritual authority. It also represents a shelter for all beings. It is represented as a shelter for all beings as it provides protection and frees all beings from danger.

The Twin Fishes represent us as being fishes with no fears of drowning in the ocean of Samsara and having ease when we are going from one life to another. The Twin Fishes also represent good fortune and happiness.

The Treasure Vase represents inexhaustible outer and inner wealth. Also, the treasure vase represents health and all the conditions to practice Dharma.

The Lotus represents purification, renunciation, compassion. The Lotus mainly represents the clearing of our delusions. When the Lotus grows out from muddy water, it is represents coming out of Samsara.

The Conch Shell represents the spreading of Dharma as the sound of the Conch Shell travels far and wide.

The Longevity Knot (it is also called the Eternity/Eternal Knot but basically it has many names) represents unlimited happiness and longevity.

The Victory Banner represents victory over our maras and our delusions. There are two different types of victories. The two different types of victories are Outer and Inner Victories. Outer Victories mean physical obstacles or demons. Inner Victories mean our delusions as they are in our minds.

Finally, there is the Dharma Wheel. The Dharma Wheel represents the Universal Monarch, the Buddha and the Dharma Wheel is the symbol of the teachings in motion.

Now, I am going to write about the seven royal emblems.

These are the seven Royal Emblems.

I have labeled the pictures of the royal emblems.

The Precious Jewels represent unending power and possibilities.

The Precious Elephant represents the qualities of being a noble gentleman and having strength of the mind.

The Precious Queen represents love that is not attached. She has the ultimate feminine beauty and love for her husband. She radiates the joy of Enlightenment.

The Precious King represents the power to overcome enemies.

The Precious Minister helps the Chakravartins (Here is the wikipedia article on Chakravartins http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chakravartin) and is a liaison that helps the King. He helps to spread the Dharma.

The Precious Horse is able to travel far and wide. It is a very fast horse. It represents carrying the Dharma and spreading it quickly.

Precious Wheel is the wheel of truth.

That is all.
Rinpoche's kindness really exceeds all of the people I am have met in my life by tenfold. He is the greatest Lama I have ever met. He treated Edward, Beatrix, Melissa and I to a fun night out yesterday.

Mama dropped me off at Ladrang after she received a magic phone call. The four of us waited at Ladrang for a few minutes. I watched Edward play his Nintendo DS.

After that, we all were told to go downstairs to Rinpoche's car. I had the honour of sitting in the front seat, in other words would be right next to Rinpoche. I was so happy to have such a great honour to sit right next to my Lama.

We were called back into the Ladrang to have a small welcome together with Rinpoche. Rinpoche asked for all our ages. Rinpoche commented that my answer was quite slow. I guess I am not quite used to calling myself thirteen yet as it was my 13th Birthday less that two weeks ago.

Edward was kind of the "victim of the day" for tonight as he was getting teased a lot by Rinpoche but he was teased in not a bad way but in a good way as I could tell he looked like he had a fun time when getting teased by Rinpoche :P

Rinpoche asked Edward whether Edward's stomach was a stomach or a pillow. Edward showed Rinpoche his stomach and said that it was a stomach. Then Rinpoche asked whether his bum was a bum or a pillow, then Rinpoche said, "Don't show me." We all laughed.

After that, we went into Rinpoche's car. As we drove out from Ladrang, Rinpoche asked us what we done before we got the magic phone call. I guess what I said made me sound like kind of a worthless person as I said that I was playing with my PSP. I could have said that I was helping out at my house by feeding the dogs, doing the laundry or feeding the cats. As I was doing those things earlier that day.

We all drove to Tropicana Mall. We used an entrance that I never hear of. I thought out loud that I never heard of this entrance before and Rinpoche joked that it was because the only mall that Mama takes me to is Amcorp mall. Well, I did not go to Amcorp mall in a long time :P

We went into the Tropicana Parking lot and we found a parking spot quite easily. We went into the mall to meet up with Uncle Monlam, Aunty Wendy and Jean Mei jie jie.

The first place we went to in the mall was this DVD shop. Rinpoche said that we can pick two DVDs we like. I picked A-Team and RED. I picked A-Team because I liked the advertisement so I believe that it would be a good movie and I picked RED because it had a lot of great actors in them such as Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman and one of Mama's favourites Helen Mirren. Rinpoche thought that the movies I picked out were violent.

After that, we visited a pet shop and watched the fishes and Rinpoche said that Rinpoche likes a Red fish. I do not know the species.

After looking at the fishes, we went to look at the rabbits and guinea pigs. They were so cute. Everyone wanted to pet them but I did not as I did not want to scare them.

After that, we went upstairs two floors and ate some Korean Potato Pancakes. Rinpoche taught Edward and I how to eat the pancakes properly. He showed all of us by smearing this white sauce on the pancake and then smearing this chili sauce onto the pancake then it can be eaten. They tasted so nice. I would love to return back there again to eat their pancakes. I wish that Kechara Oasis might have that some day.

After all of us were done, Rinpoche told us to go to Borders to pick out a books we might like. I looked for True Singaporean Ghost Stories book 20 but they were out of stock. It was nearly closing time. So, Rinpoche asked us to hurry up. So, I ended up getting one very interesting book called Narnia: The Last Battle by C.S. Lewis. Beatrix picked out one of Rinpoche's favourite books. I guess there must be some sort of affinity between their book choices. Beatrix picked out Hauntings.

After picking out the books, Rinpoche treated us to Tutti Frutti yogurt ice-cream. I picked Chocolate flavour. Rinpoche teased Edward for picking Strawberry. Rinpoche joked that Strawberry is a girl flavor. We all laughed about it.

After Ice-Cream, we were driving to the Curve to watch a movie. The road to 1U was blocked so we had to make U-Turn. Rinpoche decided to play a game with us. It is called the Scenario game. The first Scenario was what would you think Edward would do we just dropped him on the side of the road. We all laughed and I said that he would just stand there until someone picks him up. Melissa said that maybe he would cry. Beatrix said that he would call a cab to take him home. Rinpoche then asked Edward whether Edward knew where he lived, Edward recited out his home address instantly. The second Scenario was what would happen if we drop Edward off on the overhead bridge. The girls at the back said that he would all someone to pick him up.

While we were making the U-Turn, Rinpoche showed us that the electricity at the Ladrang and the area around it went out. Rinpoche said that it was because the electrician was eating.

We finally reached the Curve. Uncle Monlam and Aunty Wendy helped to reserve a parking space for Rinpoche's car. People were honking their horn at Rinpoche. I wonder what would have happened if it was a Kecharian and they discovered that they have been honking at Rinpoche but I never uttered a word and decided to keep that thought to myself at the time.

Then, we went upstairs to the cinemas. We were going to watch Narnia 3. Rinpoche did not join us for the movie. Rinpoche said his goodbyes and we all thanked him and said goodbye to Rinpoche as Rinpoche left.

I love the new Narnia movie. I know I have watched Narnia with Uncle Thierry before but Narnia 3 is really worth watching millions and millions of times. I like the storyline and the effects that come with it.

I really want to thank Rinpoche for giving me such a great day. Mama told me today that a way to show thanks is to share your experience. I also want to get a little gift for Rinpoche as another way to show your thanks is to repay the kindness given to you by giving a gift.
I have been writing a schedule so that I can keep track of what to do for the rest of the holidays.

I have to keep track of what I do so that I will not forget my jobs. If I do not do my jobs, it would show that I am lazy.

By doing these jobs, I can keep track on my laziness and prevent it from winning over. If I am good and do my jobs then I can have fun.

If I have fun and do not do my jobs, I will get it. So, I am going to watch out.

The punishment if I do not do my jobs is a grounding for 3 days. That is something I would not want, so I will be doing my jobs!

I must do them without being reminded. That way I can be able to be responsible of what I do.

These jobs will be able to benefit me when I grow up as my laziness would nearly or completely cease to exist.

The most greatest offering you can give to your Lama would be a mind transformed. I am still working on it but I will be transformed in my mind very quickly.

One of my biggest problems is my anger. That is what I am looking forward to change as I usually get angry over small things and blame others for what I feel.

When I am angry, I would usually have a big fit and I would mess up my room. The effect of my anger it that it would worry others or make them sad as it shows that I am really selfish.

Anger is really unnecessary. I used to think that I am hurt because someone else is hurting me but actually it is me who is hurting myself as I am the one creating the causes. When people scold me I now understand that it is because they are right and I have done wrong. Previously, I would think that it is just people being mean to me.

I would be creating the causes to be hurt when I ignore my responsibilities and when I get scolded for neglecting my responsibilities, I get angry.

All emotions are FAKE. They are non-existent. They are not real. That is why there is actually no point in getting angry as when you get angry, it would just pass by. It is like the sound of the clap of our hands. It appears from nowhere and goes nowhere. So, there would be no point at all when you get angry over something.

I will change by not being so selfish. I will also control my anger as much as I can so I can stop anything bad to happen from the result of my selfishness.
Today, I woke up extremely late because I had trouble sleeping yesterday.

At around 2 p.m. Uncle Thierry took me to KLCC. We actually wanted to go to Petrosains KLCC. Petrosains is a science gallery. I have not been there in a long time. It was actually SOLD OUT!

We thought that Aquaria would also be over packed too. Aquaria is an aquarium in KLCC.

In the end, we went to Pavilion Shopping Mall. When we reached there, parking was quite hard to find but we eventually found a good parking spot.

We went to the Golden Screen Cinemas to watch a movie. We chose Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Threader.

Narnia was a very nice movie. The effects were really good and it seemed that nearly the whole movie was action packed.

The movie showed that our mind controls everything as part of the movie shows that our minds must be conquered or else we would fall into its traps. Another thing is that greed leads to our downfall as the main characters reached an island that had a lot of gold. One of the main characters where very tempted to keep the gold, he turned into a fire breathing dragon.

I kind of figured out that Narnia was actually meant for Christian audiences as at the end of the movie. Aslan the lion said that he was known by another name in the real world. That of course would be god as he is shown as very powerful and he said that he would be always watching those who believe in him.

I had a lovely birthday.

In the morning, I went to La Bodega for breakfast. I had a big breakfast.

After that, I went to the Kechara Paradise Stock Party. I managed to make a few sales to some people. Most of them were Kecharians.

I had bought a book and a Heruka Cakrasamvara statue for Rinpoche as there is a new Kecharian tradition. That is to give a gift to your Lama on your birthday.

It is very good to do Dharma work on your birthday as it is a special day to you and you will earn more merit.

After that, I went to Kechara Oasis to have dinner. The dinner was very nice. I ordered a cake from Ladrang. It was made by Uncle Justin. It tasted very nice. I really liked it.

I got a lot of Ang Paos for KMP. Once I reached home, I counted them. I raised a total of RM 1070.

I am donating to KMP so that Rinpoche's teachings may spread further so that Lama Tsongkhapa's lineage will be spread and people will have a chance to become enlightened.

From the rest of the Aunties I received a PSP. I was so happy upon receiving that gift I nearly cried in joy but I controlled myself. The PSP was confiscated yesterday as I was irresponsible and did not give water to my dogs.

Yesterday, I helped to save a dog with scabies and I finally seen something through a microscope. Whenever I look in a microscope, I do not usually see anything but yestertday I finally did.

The dog was given the name ------ Gastone. I think it is a very cute name.

I have just received the latest Diary of a Wimpy Kid book in the series. This book has a purple cover. The book is called The Ugly Truth.

This time the story talks about how the main character, Gregory, experiences aging from boy to man. He actually hates the process as one of the things he hates in the world comes to haunt him, RESPONSIBILITIES. He is one of the few fictional characters who actually face the realities of children these days. He believes that responsibilities are something that are not needed but he has not been trying to take care of two dogs.

Gregory is actually in every way the worst kid in the world as he is self-deluded in thinking that he would be in the limelight forever when he is happy but he just needs to learn that the world is really not the way its cut out to be.

The way the writer writes the story is very interesting as he does not write from a third person view. He writes the character as if he is writing the diary himself. The novel is also mostly portrayed in cartoons. So, even someone who does not like to read would read that book.

I believe that if most children think of him as an opposite of a role model, children today would be better.
Tsongkhapa song- sung to the tune of Ghostbusters

If there's something strange
in your neighborhood
Who ya gonna call?
TSONGKHAPA!

If there's something weird
and it don't look good
Who ya gonna call?
TSONGKHAPA!

He ain't afraid of no ghosts
He ain't afraid of no ghosts

If you're seeing things
running through your head
Who can ya call?
TSONGKHAPA!

An invisible man
sleeping in your bed
Who ya gonna call?
TSONKHAPA!

He ain't afraid of no ghosts
He ain't afraid of no ghosts

Who ya gonna call?
TSONGKHAPA!

If ya all alone
pick up your mala
and call
TSONGKHAPA

He ain't afraid of no ghosts
He ain't afraid of no ghost
Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah

Who ya gonna call?
TSONGKHAPA

If you've had a dose of a
freaky pontianak lady
Ya better call
TSONGKHAPA!

He ain't afraid of no ghosts
He ain't afraid of no ghosts

Don't get caught alone no no

TSONGKHAPA

When it comes through your door
Unless you just want some more
I think you better call
TSONGKHAPA

Who ya gonna call?
TSONGKHAPA

Who ya gonna call?
TSONGKHAPA

I think you better call
TSONGKHAPA

Who ya gonna call?
TSONGKHAPA

I can't hear you
Who ya gonna call?
TSONGKHAPA

Louder
TSONGKHAPA

Who ya gonna call?
TSONGKHAPA

Who can ya call?
TSONGKHAPA

Who ya gonna call?
TSONGKHAPA
Yesterday was Lama Tsongkhapa day. It is a holy day for all Tibetans and Buddhists as it commemorates the Passing and Enlightenment of the great creator of the Gelugpa or Yellow Hat Lineage, the Second Buddha, Lama Tsongkhapa.

After helping to set up the day before, there was nothing much that needed my helping other than a few more extra cushions.

Before the prayers, Uncle David gave us a wonderful presentation about Lama Tsongkhapa. The link to the presentation is here:

Please watch it. It is a very well organized video presentation. It is in Chinese but there are English Subtitles.

After Uncle David's presentation, Rinpoche came. He gave a talk on the basic knowledge of Lama Tsongkhapa and he also told us to stop taking from our loved ones.

Rinpoche also said that if one wants to learn the Dharma, one should request sincerely to the Lama as the Lama holds the knowledge. Rinpoche also talked about why we must prostrate to the Lama. We are actually not prostrating to the Lama, we are prostrating to the knowledge which he holds as it can bring us towards Enlightenment.

I also learnt that our main Buddhas are Lama Tsongkhapa and Vajrayogini. When the lights are dark and you see a thing with no head, who do you call? TSONGKHAPA.

The thing that stood out in the talk for me is that I should stop just taking and taking and taking from my family but instead I should actually be giving back as they have cared for me during most of their lives. I should not just mooch of them.

And another thing that Rinpoche said that stood out to me was that a way to be holy is to make someone smile in this case it would be Mama.

After Rinpoche's talk, we done a quick Lama Chopa because the main thing here is that Rinpoche has given a Dharma talk that is already as good as doing a puja but we still should do it.

I have decided to make a little song, hehe:

If there's something strange
in your neighborhood
Who ya gonna call?
TSONGKHAPA

If there's something weird
and it don't look good
Who ya gonna call?
TSONGKHAPA

He ain't afraid of no ghosts
He ain't afraid of no ghosts

If you see a pontianak,
Who ya gonna call,
TSONGKHAPA!

I helped out a lot before the gompa opening. I helped move chairs and tables. I am so happy I managed to do it. Why? Because I am helping Kechara House to have a smooth gompa opening.

Let me tell you how the place looks through words.

First, you can enter either by the automatic sliding door or the side door. Upon entering, you would be greeted by the receptionist counter. Then when you turn left and up a small flight of stairs, you can see the shoe room that can fit many shoes.

After taking a glance at the shoe room and placing your shoes there, you can walk up a bigger flight of stairs to reach the Sunshine room. That is where you would be greeted by a heartwarming statue of Buddha Shakyamuni that is brightly shining like the sun then you can walk into the library, where an ocean of knowledge will be available and where the MKC classes for younger kids would be held.

Outside the Sunshine room, you will be in the main hall. In the main hall there is a 10-foot statue of the one that manifested the Gelugpa lineage, Lama Tsongkhapa. On His left, there is a beautiful statue of Vajrayogini and on His right there is the protector, Lord Setrap Chen.

That would be a tour of Kechara's New Gompa.

I could not attend the real opening as people below 18 years old cannot attend :(

Yesterday, I went to the new Kechara Gompa to help out. I helped carry water bottles up and later I helped out at the new Kechara Gallery.

Kechara Gallery was so beautiful but I know it will look more beautiful as I have not seen it finished. Among all the museums/galleries I have ever seen in my life, I think that the Kechara Gallery is by far one of the best. It was very organized and it was not stuffed with so much stuff that do not mean anything.

I helped out at the gallery by removing the plastic wrappings of the books by KMP that are going to be on display. After that, I helped to open plastic which surrounded Lama Tsongkhapa Tsa Tsas. I also had to peel off a price tag. The price tag was quite hard to remove because I am not good at peeling anything with my fingernails.

Suddenly, there was a beep on the door and Rinpoche came in with his Aunt Matza and Sara.

Rinpoche gave us all a grand tour of the gallery. Also I remembered how he talked about the last time he saw his mother. He gave his mother some flowers and left that night to become a monk. I thought that the story was so touching because even when Rinpoche left his home one last time he still showed respect to his mother.

Later, we all sat inside the KWPC room to watch the KWPC video with the top to bottom projector. I thought that the video was very nice but there is going to be a new one so I am quite excited to watch it.

After watching the video, we all sat down and Rinpoche talked together with all of us. Aunt Matza explained that the Kalmyks and the Mongols were once together in one tribe, then they split up. Some went into China some went to Mongolia and some went into Russia. I also learnt about how Rinpoche's mother abused him when he was younger. He was talking about his mother not because he wants to put her down because there was no point to since his mother was already dead.

Aunt Matza said that even in death, Rinpoche's mother died with anger. Her eyes were almost completely black with red at the side. They even tried to turn the body's head because they were scared of the eyes.

Rinpoche said that when people die angry then the person would most likely not be born in the human realm but will be reborn in the spirit realm and not for only a year or two but for a hundred years. That is why people can see the same residential spirit for many generations.

After that we went to the new Gompa. I went to the toilet as I had a bad stomach ache. After that, I wanted to go up but I saw everyone was sitting down. I did not want to interrupt everyone so I guess I was quite stupid not to sms Mama for instructions.

So, I went down to help out with packing pearls.

Later, I got an sms from Mama telling me to go up. So i went up and sat down quietly. I missed out the whole Dharma Talk. I was only in time to see Rinpoche give out some gifts and leave. I felt quite sad that I missed out on everything.
As a pet owner I have to be responsible for how my pets react. I usually would compliment on how cute a stray animal looks but I actually would not be responsible when taking care of it if I invite it home.

I am supposed to be responsible when I am to feed the dogs yet I usually do not feed them because I usually would ignore my responsibilities.

So actually when I do not get liked by the dogs, I guess they do not trust me much because I do not take care of them that much.

I think I should be more responsible when it comes to taking care of my pets and therefore I will be more responsible in taking care of my pets.
Today, I went to a MKC fun outing. Today was bowling. I found it very hard to bowl as my thumb was to fat for the 12 pound ball but to small for the 13 pound ball.

There was actually a prize for the top scorers. All of them were the younger kids. It was basically impossible for them to get gutter balls because of the blocking fence. Later, I understood that the fence was actually to prevent the kids from getting discouraged while playing the game so that they will keep on playing.

I got either gutter balls or a 3 or a 9 point bowl always.

After that Aunty Ling took me out to the Chinese Book fair at The Mines because I was supposed to meet Mama there so I can volunteer. I did and I started.

I tried my best but the end result was still I did not even manage to sell any books but Mama told me over dinner that it is okay to fail as long as you have tried your best.

I even met one of the teachers who teaches at my school. I did not recognize her at first but when she talked to me then I only recognized her as one of the school faculty.
One of the few things I really love in my life is to have privacy. I know that it is a really selfish thought but I usually feel like I want to have a lot of privacy. By privacy I usually mean around a few hours to myself to just relax or have fun.

I also think that other people deserve privacy so I try my best not to interrupt others if they are doing any work and I would give them as much space as they need.

I like having fun with other people a lot but then not to much as I am more of a shy person and I am usually afraid of ruining everyone else's fun so I just stand around less crowded places until I get accustomed to what's happening or someone invites me to join in.

I also like food. I guess that the saying of "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach" applies to me.

I just love to sleep. If I could sleep or a few extra hours in the morning I would take them but I would not want to sleep at night.

But the thing I love the most in life is to do the Dharma. If I am able to do anything to help Kechara House I would take the chance and do it.

I guess most of the stuff I like in life are usually quite selfish but I am working on changing that.

After the Bio team for Rinpoche's biography who went to America returned to Malaysia. Mama, Aunty Jamie and Aunty Su Ming got me some neat gifts. Pictures will be added after I take pictures of them that means tomorrow.

Mama got me two T-shirts. They are related to the President. I really like the shirts. They make me feel like I am really an undercover agent for the President. :P

Aunty Jamie got me a whole packet of the halloween Wonka candy. I find something quite funny. The day before I got the gift, I was actually reading the "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". The candy tasted so nice.

Aunty Su Ming got me a mask of Billy from the horror show, "SAW" I really love it. I feel an affiliation with the mask. I feel like wearing it wherever I go.

These are my views from the blog post on H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's blog. (http://blog.tsemtulku.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/2010/06/the-beginning.html)

As the post mentions about dualism and emptiness. It is mentioned as two doors. I believe that ever since I was born I have been continuously been walking in the door of dualism. I learned the meaning of dualism from Mama who explained to me that dualism means that you would like or dislike something. Just like how I think that Durian tastes bad and others think it tastes heavenly. That would be an example of Dualism.

Now, I would understand what is Dualism but I still cannot understand what is emptiness. I think that it would be about not having a favourite, a like or a dislike, just nothing if it is opposing to the door to dualism. I am guessing that from the Heart Sutra, Emptiness is shown as accepting everything as not real, as an illusion. I know I am wrong in this because not many would know what emptiness really is.

The next thing about the post that I would like to talk about is what happens at the end. Is it just the end?

The answer is,"NO!" Since everything ends in death as the post says so. I don't think that there would be a real reason to go and collect all the worthless things in life that will only benefit us when we are alive. Material objects are not needed in our lives. After death, we will be forgotten, everything we worked so hard for would just be taken away. We should go to the doorway that will give something better after life. That doorway would be the doorway to emptiness.

When we go into that doorway, we can still keep something that is at more worth than any material objects that we are keeping in our wallets or safe houses now. We can keep our mind and get freedom from the other doorway that would only lead to suffering, suffering and more and more suffering.

The only thing that we actually would have is our mind. It follows us everywhere we go, taking different forms. We actually have experienced everything in our life before. We just keep on re-experiencing it life by life. Just like a tape recorder playing by itself over and over again.

At the end of each life cycle, we would just be dying again and then get born again and die again. I would feel very bored if I would be able to feel like that right now to grow old then die then get young again. Then do it again and again. If my mind could remember what happens in my cycle I think that I would get a headache.

So, the thing causing this cycle to keep on going on and on is our greed, attachments and desire. We are basically tricking ourselves thinking that the place we will be going is somewhere new but it is just re-experiencing all over again.

Then, there is the path Buddhas of the past have traversed and the Buddhas of the future would walk into. That path is the path I want to go on because there is no bad things that could come out of it. I would be free from the chains of samsara that bind. The path is the path to enlightenment.
Sorry, I have not written my blog for a while. Let me first tell you something. Mama told me that you can write about many things, you just have to be aware of what is happening.

A few days ago, I went to KSA to roll matras. I rolled quite a big one. I thought that rolling mantras is very fun. It was quite difficult at first. I was using quite of a slow method to roll mantras. In the end, I took a leap of faith to not use the slow method but instead use the quicker method. Instead of placing one by one. I did 3 by 3 then eventually 5 by 5. Then it became very big.

After rolling mantras that day, I followed Mama to go to Delicious at Bangsar Village II to eat at a small dinner with KMP liaisons. Uncle David, Aunty Jamie, Aunty Susan, Aunty Li Kim, Mama and Julien was there. It was a very merry night as we chatted till late.

On Sunday, there was a normal Manjushri Kids Class. The last teaching class for the year. I think it has something to do with the opening of the new gompa and the school holidays. The class was about H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's blog (just click on the word "blog" to go to Rinpoche's blog). Firstly, we were discussing about the world's tallest man, Bao who saved the dolphins by putting his extremely long arm into the dolphin and pulling out some plastic that someone littered into the aquarium. I really think that he is good at using what is exceptionally special about him to benefit others, in this case his long arm that goes with his tall body.

I find littering plastics or any form of rubbish on the streets or in the ocean is just simply unacceptable. Each time one person throws a plastic bag into the ocean, one turtle would get smothered to death after thinking that the plastic bag was a jellyfish and tried to eat it. Each time one person throws a plastic bottle on the road, a dog might think that is food and will try to eat it. Then, it would die. We should be more careful when it comes to rubbish or else we might be hurting other sentient beings.

The Second thing we were discussing about was about one older blog post on Rinpoche's blog called, The Beginning (http://blog.tsemtulku.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/2010/06/the-beginning.html). I will give my views on a different blog post.

Yesterday, after tuition, I went to KSA to do more mantra rolling but this time I had to roll images instead. The images were rolled in five. I ost count of how much I did. It was quite difficult. I lost focus and the whole thing unraveled many times.
Yesterday, I made my Tuition teacher walk out of my house because I did not complete the homework she had given me many times.

I am really sorry for what I had done.

I did not do my homework because I did not like doing it. I did not like doing it because I dislike sitting there doing something boring.

Mama gave me advice saying that I should do the things that I do not want to do first then only I should relax or play.

At first, I did not heed her advice so now I have to bear my consequences.

From now on, I will follow her advice to prevent me from landing in this same position again.

Today shall be a short blog post.

Aunty Susan explained to me about certain thangkas through pictures of them. But before I begin to tell you what she taught me I shall first provide the definition of a thangka.

The definition is:

The thangkas that Aunty Susan explained to me were the Guru Tree of the Gelug Lineage, Yamantaka, Heruka Chakrasamvara and Vajrayogini.

Let us start first at the Guru Tree of the Gelug Lineage.

This picture comes from google.

Let's start with the big picture and then details later.

On the left is the Compassion/Bodhicitta method, represented by Maitreya. On the right is the Wisdom/Profound method represented by Manjushri. It is profound because wisdom is rare.

On the top of the Guru Tree, there are five beings that are the start of the 5 tantric lineages. I will explain them one by one. (from left to right)

1. Guhyasamaja - He represents the father tantra = Compassion

2. Yamantaka
3. Vajradhara
4. Atisha - He is the only human here.
5. Heruka Chakrasamvara represents mother tantra = Wisdom, will explain more later.

On the top left there is a cloud, that is Tushita Heaven. Maitreya, Atisha and Tsongkhapa reside there. On the top right there is another cloud, that is the Western Paradise of Sukhavati. Amitabha, Vajrapani and Chenrezig are notable Buddhas who reside there.

At the bottom of the tree are the 4 Heavenly kings. In Chinese, they are called si da tian wang.

Anything beyond the protectors at the bottom of the Guru Tree, we cannot take refuge in.

The Guru Tree is based on the Mahayana's view of sutra & tantra.

These are the 35 confessional Buddhas. These Buddhas are quite interesting.

Atisha taught that before these Buddhas became enlightened, they were Bodhisattvas. They did many lifetimes 0f prayers.

These Buddhas include the 5 Dhyani Buddhas.

It is said that upon just reciting their names, it will purify eons of bad karma.

There are supposed to be distinct colours for each Buddha. In the centre, there is Buddha Shakyamuni and his two main disciples - Shariputra and Maudgalyayana.

That is all I know of the painting. If there is anything to add, please tell me.

This is the Medicine Buddha. Medicine Buddha or Menlha is the Buddha of the Eastern Paradise. He is the colour of lapis lazuli.

In the bowl there is the arura plant, on his hand there is the Myrobalan plum.

Now for something very interesting .....

This is Vajrayogini! Kechara house's main deity.

She has a Khatanga on her elbow = Heruka.

She drinks blood from the skull cup to represent constantly having Bodhicitta.

There is fire coming out from every pore of her body = wisdom fire that burns up all delusions.

Her hair is unfettered = nothing holds her back

Damaru and bell on the khatanga = realization of emptiness

Drigug on her left hand = cut away ignorance.

50 skulls = 50 guru devotions.

On the bottom of her feet there are two gods. Bhairava (Hatred and Ignorance, Blue) & Kalarati (Desire, red). She is focusing a lot of her energy on stepping on Bhairava because she stops hatred & ignorance.

This is all I am going to talk about for today.

We must be kind to all animals in all places.

Please be kind to me!

Animals are usually treated really badly around the world. I have seen many forms of abuse on animals from H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's Blog. Rinpoche posts many videos and shares a lot of information on the abuse they are suffering. Most of the time, animals are abused right in front of our eyes but we choose just not to notice it. I have seen animal abuse with my own eyes as I have previously mentioned in my blog. Animals do have feelings. They do have souls. They are sentient beings. They DO NOT deserve to have to go through all of these sufferings. I believe that they are already going through many hardships already as they are in the Animal realm (one of the three lower realms).

One person who I really admire when it comes to being kind to animals would be H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. He is my role model when it comes to being kind to animals because I have heard many things that he does for animals that normal people like me would not do. Rinpoche feeds animals on the streets of Malaysia without a second thought. Rinpoche also has an aviary that is a household of many cute tweety birds. He also has two turtles - Kadro and Menlha and two doggies - Yogi and Oser.

Rinpoche's greatest project that will be contributing to kindness towards animals would be -Kechara Animal Sanctuary. Here is the website: http://www.kechara.com/animal-sanctuary/

When it comes up, I want to go there every week to help and play with all the little mumus.

I currently have many pets, these pets are giving me a great opportunity to be kind to animals. My Pets are:

Cats:
1) Brush, she is the queen cat of the house.
2) Christmas, he is christmas because he can eat a lot just like how I would at an Xmas feast.
3) Dorje, named indestructible but he is mentally handicapped.
4) Puss puss, he adopted us upon coming to our house, he confuses my hand with a scratching post.
5) Tara, the timid queen of the house

Dogs:

Jannic, adopted guard dog, big but not deadly.
Lester, adopted dog, was burnt and abandoned, he is a tough cookie, his bark is worse than his bite.

Hamsters:

Flip
Flop (deceased)

I guess I have a mini zoo!

I hope that Kechara Animal Sanctuary WILL GROW!

Last Saturday, Kechara Care held their first annual Halloween Party.

The entrance was emblazened with bloodied letters, "KEEP OUT!" as a warning for those who are not Halloween fanatics.

I dressed up as a vampire. I had to not wear my fangs most of the time as it kind of hurts. Anyway, back to this tale of horror.

Upon passing the reception counter, I was greeted by a hanging severed leg. Followed by cob web that tangled me. The scenery was really horrific.

After that, a magician came and mesmerized everyone in the illusions such as him nearly cutting off his finger.

To end the night, Kechara Care turned on the projector and screened a horror movie, "Drag me to Hell". The synopsis can be found on wikipedia.

That was the end of the Halloween spooks night.

Wake = Night Funeral

I discovered what is the meaning of the word wake. It actually meant a funeral at night. I went to the wake of Aunty Su Ming's grandmother. My deepest condolences to her and her family.

This was another reminder that death is so near by. Life is just so impermanent.

Once Again, my deepest condolences.
I tried to walk to Bangsar LRT, even though it was going to be quite far. The next problem arose. There was a road block that blocked every corner of Little India, Brickfields. I asked the police for some directions on any alternative routes to Bangsar LRT. One told me to go in one direction, so I followed his instructions. I had to go to the back alleys which I thought were pretty scary but there were a lot of people so I felt reassured.

I heard the a yowling of suffering as I saw some Indian children taking a full water bottle and was whacking a cat till is was half dead as entertainment. I could not help the cat because I was already in pain myself as my feet really hurt from all the walking.

There turned out to be another road block. I asked a police for help but he told me to go the opposite direction the other policeman told me to go.

I followed the directions he gave me and went back to square one. I asked a person at a petrol station. He told me to use the LRT to go to Bangsar LRT. I told him I had no money. He gave me RM1 to go. I thanked him.

I finally went home. I have never appreciated having a home this much.

I think that I may have hurt many people by doing this as I did not contact anyone and made everyone worry. I have already apologized.

I know that what I did was very selfish and irresponsible. I should have just called home.

Aunty Susan just referred to me a video of an indigo boy who can recall his past live as a martian 80000 years ago. The video is one hour long. I did not quite understand the video so I just read it description. Here it is:

Boris Kipriyanovich is an Indigo Child, probably the most famous in Russia. Boriska, or 'little Boris', was featured in Pravda after Gennady Belimov, a university professor in the Volgograd region of Russia, witnessed Boriska, then aged just seven, astound an adult audience during a camping trip in which he held them spellbound for an hour and a half as he recounted tales of past lives on Mars and Lemuria, and warned of catastrophes due to affect the Earth in 2009 and 2013.

Within a short time, word was spreading within Russia about what this diminutive prophet had to say, especially once the story was picked by Moscow's premier newspaper.

Word filtered to the west, where we first heard about him in our interview with Michael St Clair last year. Meanwhile, there had been a short piece about him in Nexus Magazine which had stirred up a huge amount of interest.

So Project Camelot decided to travel to Russia to find him. It seems we were the first westerners to have made the journey. On 8 October, we were privileged to interview him with his mother, Nadya, near Moscow where Nadya had brought him to attend a special school for gifted children. They live in a small one-roomed apartment. The father is absent. We will do all we can to help.

Boriska was twelve on 11 January 2008. Nearly a teenager, he is charming, delightful, shy, alert, perceptive, sensitive, and clearly highly intelligent. His most memorable comment to us was when Kerry asked him what he thought of the people of planet Earth. "I don't like saying bad things about people", he replied...

I guess this proves that reincarnation does exist and this also proves that there are life on other planets. How I wish that I could be an alien one day.

I just have one question, "Which realm of samsara is an Alien in?"
Aunty Susan just shown me a very cool addition to the Kechara Website. The link is below.

There, kids can learn the Dharma if they never had the chance to go to the classes. There are many things kids could learn as it is not so deep. They have the basics, Lama Tsongkhapa and our protector Setrap.

Kids who are tired of the same story books and bedtime stories can feel happy when they learn the Dharma through amazing stories that involve the past lives of the Enlightened One, Shakyamuni.

For the kids who like to play computer games but are so addicted to bloodletters and gutbusting games, the ids corner has fun games for the whole family as they teach us some moral values such as taking care of animals whereas some are just for sheer entertainment.

I hope many people will visit the kids corner.

These days are the exams days, the scariest days of the year. As students are unsure what they will get even if they do study.

I actually studied harder for the exams this time. It felt slightly easier than the exams preceding these ones.

Yesterday, Rinpoche gave a talk on many things and basically what we can accomplish if we want to.

We should set a good motivation in the morning by thinking, "I CAN!I CAN!I CAN!I CAN!" then the karma will open up so that we can.

There are two types of Karma, Bad or Good. They are dormant. They rest for years, waiting for their moment to open up. The way they open up is through thought. THOUGHTS CONTROL EVERYTHING!!!

That was basically what really stood out in my mind.

So, this morning, I forgave one person who caused so much trouble in my life and blames me for all the bad things happening to him. He did not forgive me but at least I got that of my chest.
Today, I read the school newsletter. It was very depressing as it talked on a song called gloomy sunday. There is an urban legend saying that the song caused a mass wave of suicide.

I read the poem. I really got depressed very quickly. Even if I don't understand the essence of it, my mind tells me that I should be very depressed.

Sunday is gloomy,
my hours are slumberless,
Dearest the Shadows,
who I live with are numberless,
Little white flowers,
will never awaken you,
Not where the black coach of sorrow has taken you,
Angels have no thought of returning you,
Will they be Angry,
If I join you?

I think the poem is actually quite scary. Everyone can read on its legend at wikipedia.

www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gloomy_Sunday
Today, school was very unusually dull. Nothing really special happened at all. Even my maths teachers did not rant about like usual with political speeches.

I just finished my homework and then I watched the television. The only interesting thing on the telly was a show on National Geographic called What If? It seemed quite interesting because they talked on whether humans can live without water, winter olympics in summer, how to make soap out of dangerous chemicals, what happens if your telly is shocked by a lightning shock.

Conclusion, humans need to at least drink 1.5litres of water to survive everyday.
Pykrete is a type of ice that is strong as cement and basically consists of wood shaving and ice.
Soap can be made out of coconut oil, caustic soda, 100ml or water, vegetable fat and olive oil but it is not recommended to wash face with the soap.
Nothing happens to the television it just shorts out.
I woke up at 11 today because I had to go to Lam Rim Class. In Lam Rim class they were talking about the preciousness of human life and also on the importance of prayers in our daily lives. I actually found out that when one does prayers, they are actually getting a glimpse into the Buddha's mind.

At MKC today, we talked about Adolf Hitler and about the reason he hated the Jewish. It turns out that he hated them due to many theories. A few are Jealousy, he also blames the Jewish for nearly everything bad that happens to him. We also saw a seen of the horror movie: "The Sixth Sense"

Just now, I saw a very interesting news topic on MSN.com about peta.

http://news.malaysia.msn.com/photogallery.aspx?cp-documentid=4336340
Today, I had school. It was a really normal day in every way except for the fact that my mathematics teacher insulted most of the students in my class and also criticized all malaysians especially what most people consider as minorities. She also talked about the superiority of her over the malaysian government and ranted on about how the malaysian government should crash so that Chinese people can rule malaysia. She also commented on how muslims get benefits and chinese people don't. I think that what the teacher said was very offensive.

I attempted to reconnect my relationship with one of my friends. I gave him a chance despite him being so selfish and worthless. He rejected that chance to have at least some friends. He is also blackmailing my friend and I by giving the teacher loads of rubbish saying that we hurt him badly, well just to clear things up.

My dog was unusually good today. I guess the dog could see that I am in a slightly bad mood today.
Last friday night, I went out to watch a movie being screened in Kechara Care. It was called "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"

It was a parody of horror films and they really screwed it up. The opening credits lasted for five minutes with just a singing mouth. Then most of the film is related with transvestites and aliens. I thought the storyline was horrid but the songs were not bad if you just hear them and not watch.

On saturday, there was a lantern festival hosted by Kechara House. I made my own lantern. It did not look the least appealing to others but I still felt it looked like somethings I would take out at night with a candle lit.

There was actually a screening of the legend of the conch shell in KC but I missed it due to the lantern making competition.

There was a pomelo eating competition later. The pomelo was so bitter as I ate through it.

Sunday was a very fun day. I woke up unusually early so I could go rock climbing. I managed to climb the eight meter wall.

We went to A&W for lunch. Due to the lack of vegan food there, my lunch was rootbeer, curley fries and a waffle.

We later went to Kc for a screening of the expendables. The expendables is an action movie that stars all the big stars in hollywood such as Sylvester Stallone(Rambo), Jason Statham(the transporter), Jet Li(rogue assasin).

We went to feed the fish at bukit jalil park later. The fish were monsters. We saw a dead fish getting ripped apart. I hope that fish will have a good rebirth.

After that I went to aunty Li Kim's house to hang out with Julian and Lucas and Jason. I also had dinner there.

After that Mama took me out to watch a movie called inception. It was very confusing as it was a dream within a dream within a dream within a dream. I am currently still trying to figure out how it works. I hope someone will explain to me.

I think the movie was very good though and it is suitable for all audiences who wonder on the wonders of the subject called "the mind".
Lately I have been having a lot of fun.

A band from Kuantan arrived at Kechara Care to sing. I thought they sang very well even though I could not understand a single word they were singing as they were all in Cantonese.

I think that what they are doing is very good as they are contributing towards the Dharma in a way. I helped to carry the donation box around.

Uncle Theirry taught Mama, Aunty Susan, Aunty Shin, Aunty Jamie and I some sort of breathing exercise called Boteyko Breathing.

Here is a link on a more explainable area as I can't really tell anyone how it works.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buteyko_method

That is about it for today.

I have just changed some parts of my blog.
SATURDAY

I really felt very blur when I woke up today. Mama was busy at a meeting with H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. His blog is very interesting. The link is:

blog.tsemtulku.com

So back to where I stopped earlier, since Mama was busy with the meeting I had to go to school myself for a change.

The taxi fares were unusually high today, i think the man cheated me. At the Monorail Station of KL Sentral, i sat in the train and waited for 10-15 minutes as the driver had to walk from the front cabin to the back and he had to test the brakes. I thought that the brakes had a problem because it was hissing madly. Apparently, the brakes worked (yay!).

At school, I made a truce with an ex-rival named Steven. At one point, he physically hurt me but now he gave me a very, very sincere sounding apology, he seemed to look like as if he was really begging for forgiveness so i forgave him for his ungratefulness and selfishness. He was really happy with my decision.

I got scolded by the school teacher because I did not tell Mama to sign a few documents. I will ask her to sign on Monday morning while she is so drowsy she will not know what she is signing for (keh keh!) but in actuality the documents are just my report card and a return note for buying a book (I'm not buying because it has no importance).

While the teacher was asking me why I did not tell Mama to sign the documents, one of the students interrupted the teacher by shouting, "Sean has no mother!" The teacher thought I was offended by that sentence so he was forced to apologize to me but he did not even do it sincerely at all and even badmouthed the teacher behind her back.

The reason why I did not get offended is because in Dharma, even if people harm you or people in your life, do not hold a grudge!

I had to listen to a bunch of people sing as the school organized a group singing competition. One group sang the Digi theme songs.( I will follow you, follow you...)

After school, I had to wait slightly long for Mama but I am okay with it as I know she works very hard and even tries to squeeze out the last second to be able to do Dharma work!

At night, I went to the 7th month Setrap prayer. Aunty Gim Lee was the Umzee (inform me if I misspelled the word).

After that, I went for KSK!!!! WE ACTUALLY RAN OUT OF FOOD!!!!!!!!!!

SUNDAY

I went to MKC today. We learned about death and animal slaughter. We will continue on the subject next week. We also said that everyone that kills animals will go to hell and also the spectators who encourage the slaughter will too go to hell. They should stop the dumb slaughterfest that is held every year in Denmark.

Also, this activity does not necessarily mean that they would all go to hell as they might have done other good things. We also touched a bit on reincarnation.

I cut my hair today also.

Today, I went to Mid Valley to a movie called, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice"

The movie was made by the world famous Disney. It stars a familiar face as the Sorcerer, Nicholas Cage.

The story revolves around a boy who actually is a heir to the blood of Merlin, the great wizard of Camelot.

It starts when the main character, David, is 10 years old. He ends up finding himself in a shop were he meets a man who gave him a ring that will help him to destroy a future threat for mankind, Morgana.

You will have to watch the rest of the movie to get the full story.

I liked the movie as it had great special effects. An example of that would be that the characters are always conjuring and hurling greatly animated lightning bolts at each other.

This movie blends Science with Magic. I learned a bit of physics from the movie. Molecules need to vibrate to become combustive. That is one of the ways to do the magic. As the sorcerers can move the molecules so that the molecules can do anything illogical by human standards such as the classic thing with Disney's Fantasia, bringing mops to life!

This movie will be good for all ages, young or old. I hope many will enjoy it!
Last night was a very fun night! There was a dinner and auction function held by Kechara.

It started with a loving speech by Datuk May Phng. Followed by the Lucky Draw. I do not know who won but I think it was Uncle David.

After that, the dinner was being served. During the dinner there were performances of Swank Legs and Wannabe Girls. They are such funny drags. Actually, they show no fear nor embarrassment during the show. That is quite Dharmic. It is to reveal your inner self, your inner girl!

Read more about the "girls" at Rinpoche's blog:

http://blog.tsemtulku.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/2010/07/wannabe-girls-rehearsal-videos.html

They worked really hard!

Something embarrassing happened to me last night. As I was about to go back to my table to get some food. I found out I was at the wrong table. I was literally glowing red. HAHA!
I have discovered a sport that is really fun to play. The sport is golf.Uncle Martin taught me the basics of golf. Uncle Martin is very kind as he bought all the equipment. He took a lot of time out of his usually busy schedule to spend time for me as Mama can't spend that much time with me. I am very happy for him to keep me company and I really like the outings.

Golf is very Buddhist as you have to learn discipline and focus.Just like Buddhism, when we have the tools ( the Lam Rim), we must have a teacher then it is our choice to pick what we want to do to with it. To play golf, you need to practice a lot or else you will not get good at it.

On the first day of our outings, we went to MST golf shop. He showed me the basics of golf there. He showed me how to hold the club. The way he taught me to hold the club was the Interlock Grip. Over the next few days, I found out that it was the same grip that the famous golfer Tiger Woods uses.

The next day of our outings, We went to the driving range. There I saw some kids who are so much younger than me, they look like professionals. Uncle Martin told me that people at any age can join this fun sport of golf. It just requires the right discipline.

After I whacked a few balls, a professional coach came up to teach me how to hit using a nine iron. He told me the correct positions. He laid some powder on the ground and told me to hit it. It was actually quite hard to hit it at first but I managed to do it later.

After the coach was done, Uncle Martin taught me another trick in golfing. We should keep our eyes on the ball but do not follow it as it lifts off.

As the day ended, we went to the Boathouse Restaurant. I some pasta. After I ate, I went upstairs to play snooker with some Australian teachers that teach part-time in Gardens School.
As we were about to play a game of Pictionary, Mama called me to go home.

Today, My neighbor, Uncle Daniel and I went to the Sunway Lagoon Amusement park. We went to water park. First we went to the wave pool. Then, we went to Surf Beach. There were no waves at Surf Beach, so there were no surfers.

I also conquered my fears of tall and dark water slides today. I went into a water slide with Uncle Daniel. I was screaming the whole way but it was fun. I really want to thank him also for his kindness as he left an 8 month pregnant lady at home just for me. I hope he will take care of Aunty Erin well.

I wish that Uncle Martin, Uncle Daniel and Aunty Erin can have a nice, long and joyful life.
Lately, I have not been writing, sorry about that...

Firstly, I have been commenting on the blog of His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's blog. The URL is here:

blog.tsemtulku.com

I hope many people will visit it as it has many interesting articles related to Dharma, Buddhas and also UFOs! Isn't that insanely cool? When people have free time, they should go to his blog. I like the articles on Rinpoche's pet dog named Yogi a.k.a Mumu and Oser, the new addition to the Tsem Ladrang family. These cute little doggies are the first few steps for the Kechara Animal Sanctuary to manifest so that they can help many other little animals.

I think I done around 80 comments that are over a hundred words. I written over a hundred words to show that I actually read the post rather than comment on it for no reason whatsoever.

Well, as the school holidays were over for a long time already, I had a did not really have a lot of time to do all this but I still wanted to do it because I knew it was absolutely the right thing to do!

My Exams have passed already, only a few grades came back, some were not exactly pleasing for me. I will write them below:

Chinese: 37%
Chinese Geography: 55% Improved by: 27%
Math: 65% Improved by 9.5%
Science: 70.5%
Chemistry: 70%

I will update the rest sooner or later.
I have to study for the whole week for my exams next week but I still done some interesting stuff after I came back from down under.

I went to my friend's friend's party. There were no official reasons for the party. So I guess it is my first "teen" party. There was pizza but I did not eat them as it was to little so i let everyone eat.

I was also interviewed for the Star Online TV. I hope many people will give good ratings :) It was about KSK. I talked about how the people on the streets need help.

I gave a big chocolate KISSES to my tuition teacher. She was quite happy. Mama told me that everyone likes gifts.

I like lobster bisque ( just something random haha)
This morning, I came back from Australia. It was a very good experience as I went to a place I have not explored before, Perth.

After the 5 hour AirAsiaX flight, we arrived in Perth airport. I had a tasty sandwich. I watched the Flinstones ( a show I never watched in a super long time ) and the original, old, unanimated version of Thunderbirds ( I never heard of that show before ).

Approximately 30 minutes later, Ah Kong and Uncle Kenny picked me and Mama up. In the end, we did not get any sleep other than the sleep on the plane.

Later, Uncle Kenny took me out to the Perth Aquarium. There were so many fishes. I took many pictures as I lent Uncle Kenny's high-tech camera. After that, I pet the fish in the touch pool. One poor little stingray had its eyes poked out by some touchy kids.

Tayatha Om Beckanze Beckanze Maha Beckanze Beckanze Ranza Samughate Soha.

Anyone can chant that to bless the poor fishes or in general, all animals.

At the Souvenir Shop, I bought a gold coin with a shark picture on it.

The next activity was to go to a brewery called Little Creatures.

We also went to the Maritime museum. Did you know that the Australia II won the America cup because it had a special keel. I also played a rowing game.
, i thought I was quite good at it .

After dropping, Aunty Stephanie, Ah Kong and Mama at a home show, Uncle Kenny and I went to the Perth Zoo. I took many pictures of the cool animals but due to the short amount of time. We could not explore the whole zoo so we can't see really native Australian animals.

I could just summarize my activities in Perth because I just can't write it out. The only way to know would be to experience it yourself.

Today, I woke up moderately late so I felt so refreshed.

At 2.00 p.m., Mama, Aunty Susan and I left to Kechara Oasis for the 2nd Kecharians Gathering that had updates on the new Gompa that might be completed by September to October.

After that, Aunty Ruby told us about Lati Rinpoche's funeral. If Lati Rinpoche did not meet Rinpoche, there will be no Kechara as Lati Rinpoche was the person that told Rinpoche to come to Malaysia. It was a very emotional talk as Aunty Ruby was actually shedding a tear or two.

After the Gathering, Teacher Ling took me out to watch Prince of Persia. I learned some morals. One of them is that people should let go of certain loved ones. Even the closes ones to you might back stab you but do not hurt them.

The effects were very good. Just watching this movie is making me hooked up with the video game.

I hope that one day, video games like Tekken or anime like Bleach or Naruto deserve a shot in hollywood one day.

Wesak Day is the birthday, day of enlightenment and day of passing into clear light of Buddha Shakyamuni, thus creating one of the most auspicious days in every single year, others being Lama Tsongkhapa Day and Sakadawa day.

The Wesak Day celebration in Kechara House in the current year (2010) was mostly exquisite. For me, the event started with the Guru Yoga. After that, I had fun with my friends awaiting the main Wesak prayers (The Lama Chopa Prayers).

Many of the kids were wishing that His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche can arrive but in the end he did not but that did not stop enjoyable moments the kids had experienced that night.

Before the Lama Chopa, the MC of that night, my Mama, Sharon Saw and Uncle Dino announced the winners of the Dzambala Retreat. The prizes were presented to the winners was Aunty Li Kim's mother, Dato' May Phng. The youngest winner was Jutika won one of the prizes.

The Lama Chopa Prayers were very extraordinary. The ocean of prayers were penetrating the walls flooding the Universe and liberating all sentient beings. Thatis what I thought about it as I could feel the strong good vibes throbbing in my soul, raising my spirit for the rest of the night.

The Gompa was so full that we were not able to do any full or even half prostration. I was guessing that some did not come just for the puja but to witness the forecoming event. ( Secretly, I was hoping that the new gompa would come faster.)

After the prayers, everyone lined up to exit the Gompa and off to the streets carrying candles. The candles were like as if they were representing all the sentient beings in the world, illuminating the nightfall sky with the glow of the good qualities in them, even including the darkest souls. We walked all the way from Kechara House 1 to Kechara House 2 via the Old Town White Coffee Restaurant route.

After the long walk, we settled down in Kechara House to where they placed the beautiful Dzambala Statue they were carrying in a hand painted carrier during the walk. My legs were quite heavy during the long walk but seeing the smiles on the faces of everybody, replenished my strength and ended up making me feel that I could fly up in to the nightfall sky. Many offered khatas whilst some prostrated too.

The eventful night full of the laughter of children, the smiles of adults and gathering of both the younger and older generation really brought this years Wesak day to be one of the best.
