Today, I woke up moderately late so I felt so refreshed.

At 2.00 p.m., Mama, Aunty Susan and I left to Kechara Oasis for the 2nd Kecharians Gathering that had updates on the new Gompa that might be completed by September to October.

After that, Aunty Ruby told us about Lati Rinpoche's funeral. If Lati Rinpoche did not meet Rinpoche, there will be no Kechara as Lati Rinpoche was the person that told Rinpoche to come to Malaysia. It was a very emotional talk as Aunty Ruby was actually shedding a tear or two.

After the Gathering, Teacher Ling took me out to watch Prince of Persia. I learned some morals. One of them is that people should let go of certain loved ones. Even the closes ones to you might back stab you but do not hurt them.

The effects were very good. Just watching this movie is making me hooked up with the video game.

I hope that one day, video games like Tekken or anime like Bleach or Naruto deserve a shot in hollywood one day.

Wesak Day is the birthday, day of enlightenment and day of passing into clear light of Buddha Shakyamuni, thus creating one of the most auspicious days in every single year, others being Lama Tsongkhapa Day and Sakadawa day.

The Wesak Day celebration in Kechara House in the current year (2010) was mostly exquisite. For me, the event started with the Guru Yoga. After that, I had fun with my friends awaiting the main Wesak prayers (The Lama Chopa Prayers).

Many of the kids were wishing that His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche can arrive but in the end he did not but that did not stop enjoyable moments the kids had experienced that night.

Before the Lama Chopa, the MC of that night, my Mama, Sharon Saw and Uncle Dino announced the winners of the Dzambala Retreat. The prizes were presented to the winners was Aunty Li Kim's mother, Dato' May Phng. The youngest winner was Jutika won one of the prizes.

The Lama Chopa Prayers were very extraordinary. The ocean of prayers were penetrating the walls flooding the Universe and liberating all sentient beings. Thatis what I thought about it as I could feel the strong good vibes throbbing in my soul, raising my spirit for the rest of the night.

The Gompa was so full that we were not able to do any full or even half prostration. I was guessing that some did not come just for the puja but to witness the forecoming event. ( Secretly, I was hoping that the new gompa would come faster.)

After the prayers, everyone lined up to exit the Gompa and off to the streets carrying candles. The candles were like as if they were representing all the sentient beings in the world, illuminating the nightfall sky with the glow of the good qualities in them, even including the darkest souls. We walked all the way from Kechara House 1 to Kechara House 2 via the Old Town White Coffee Restaurant route.

After the long walk, we settled down in Kechara House to where they placed the beautiful Dzambala Statue they were carrying in a hand painted carrier during the walk. My legs were quite heavy during the long walk but seeing the smiles on the faces of everybody, replenished my strength and ended up making me feel that I could fly up in to the nightfall sky. Many offered khatas whilst some prostrated too.

The eventful night full of the laughter of children, the smiles of adults and gathering of both the younger and older generation really brought this years Wesak day to be one of the best.

I feel very sad as I joined an English speech competition . At firs, I did not want to write about this but Mama said that I should.

I was going to give a speech about Animal Welfare. I was not told about the date the competition will be held so I flunked . I stuttered as I said a few words. I disappointed many of my teachers. All the teachers talked to me and asked the same question, " What happened put there?"

Even all the students also rubbed it in my face. I felt so embarrassed.

I have finally got over that pain and decided that I should just move on.
Yesterday, I attended my first Oxbridge Boat Race Ball. It was so very fun. I had a chance to have more nice and refreshing cokes more than I usually get to have in weeks.

The dinner was really flipping fantastic. It started with some asparagus then came some mushroom soup and finally came some chicken with black pepper sauce.

I learned many valuable lessons that day as Mama gave me a talk about how to have a proper conversation.

One of them is that always look at the persons expressions when you are talking to them as they can be irritated by what you say. Also, never give long speeches as they want a proper conversation, that means that just say what you need to say or ask about them etc.

Also, be grateful for what you have and not be angry for what you do not have. I am grateful that I have an ever-caring mother, a perfect guru and a good life. That I was born with all ten fingers , with two ears that can hear properly and one mouth to speak words that do not cause harm to others.

Today, I went to simplified lam rim class. Our wonderful teacher Ngeow was talking about the Karma Chart that H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche written. I learned that having Neutral Karma causes the same effects of bad karma. I also learned about the preciousness of life.

Today, there was also Manjushri Class. Uncle Alex just gave a recap on our past classes like the four noble truths etc. He also talked to us about being aware of our own bodies so that we won't waste other people's precious time by being the center of attention.

I really feel sad in one point today as I cannot help Kechara that is a charity for its Wesak fair as I have to go to the school fair that won't benefit anyone other than the headmistress.
I have not written for a very, very long time. I have a lot to write right now.

Firstly, My grandad and grandmum visited me in Kuala Lumpur.

During our first day, Mama and I picked up grandad and grandmum from their hotel ( Hotel Istana). Upon arriving home, Lester ( I will explain who he is later) ran out of the house. I felt kind of sorry for Mama and Kak Umi as the dog ran off very far. I heard that Kak Umi walked the whole way.

Lester is my family's new dog. He was once a cute, prosperous puppy but a very horrible man poured hot oil on him, heavily damaging his skin. Lester also has a blood condition. He has to eat pills everyday to keep his white blood cells low.

Grandad, Grandmum and I had dinner in BSC. The restraunt was one of Mama's favourite restraunts called Vineria. Grandad and Grandmum ended up sharing an Al Fritto di Mare. I also had one for myself. It was very tasty. An Al Fritto di Mare was a pizza that had Calamari Rings and prawns.

During dinner, I learned much more about my biological father's side of the family. I found out that I had many cousins. I also found out that my blood has a bit of Jewish ( I rather people not comment on it) and Irish(same here too) in it. Grandad's half brother is actually David Horovitch who played Dr. Pavlov in 102 Dalmations.

The next day, I was horribly bad mannered. We had dinner at PapaRich. I think it would have been a bad name for the restaurant as it was empty, i bet in a few years of days like that, the name would've been changed to PapaPoor ( the tag line will be : Papa Need Cash).

Back to the situation i had that day. I recommended a few dishes for grandad. In the end, he ordered an Assam Laksa. I noticed that he might not have liked it but I still didn't switch my chicken chop for the Assam Laksa.

The second bad thing i did was falling asleep everywhere. Mama told me the next day about how I must push myself to benefit others.

That day, Grandad and Grandmum gave us some welcome gifts. They were green stones. They gave Mama, Aunty Susan and I a brief history about the Maori custom of gifting green stones.

The next day was the last day Grandad and Granmum will be in KL.We met at 1 Utama's MPH bookstore. I bought them parting gifts with my MPH vouchers I got during Chinese New Year from Aunty Rosa. I bought grandmum a mug and grandad a photo frame with the words : Family on it in italics. I had dinner at Kechara Oasis with them. I was quite sad as I knew I would have missed them.

The next day, Mama told me about how when I told Grandmum that I wanted to call her grandmum, grandmum actually cried and after I gave her the mug, she cried some more.

Mama and I went to BSC as there was a book sale. We bought tonnes of books. I bought the whole diary of a Wimpy kid series except for the D.I.Y Diary. I started to like the Diary of A wimpy kid series.

Later, I went swimming with Jason at his house. I tried to entertain him by putting a bucket over my head. I thought I was pretty good at it.

After that we watched some VCD's I bought at the sale. First, We watched R.L. Stine's Mostly Ghostly. I thought the movie was quite funny but the special effects were quite cheesy but overall it was good.

After that, we took Kak Umi to a thai nudle bar called Basil. The food was very good. I never had Tom Yam Soup ever since my trip to phuket a long time ago.

Today, I had KSA art class. I made a mother's day card. I did not make a flower bouquet but I was still given an extra one for my mama. I hope she will like it. I can tell she does :)

At the time of writing, The tuition teacher will be arriving soon.
