Today, I went to Mid Valley to a movie called, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice"

The movie was made by the world famous Disney. It stars a familiar face as the Sorcerer, Nicholas Cage.

The story revolves around a boy who actually is a heir to the blood of Merlin, the great wizard of Camelot.

It starts when the main character, David, is 10 years old. He ends up finding himself in a shop were he meets a man who gave him a ring that will help him to destroy a future threat for mankind, Morgana.

You will have to watch the rest of the movie to get the full story.

I liked the movie as it had great special effects. An example of that would be that the characters are always conjuring and hurling greatly animated lightning bolts at each other.

This movie blends Science with Magic. I learned a bit of physics from the movie. Molecules need to vibrate to become combustive. That is one of the ways to do the magic. As the sorcerers can move the molecules so that the molecules can do anything illogical by human standards such as the classic thing with Disney's Fantasia, bringing mops to life!

This movie will be good for all ages, young or old. I hope many will enjoy it!
Last night was a very fun night! There was a dinner and auction function held by Kechara.

It started with a loving speech by Datuk May Phng. Followed by the Lucky Draw. I do not know who won but I think it was Uncle David.

After that, the dinner was being served. During the dinner there were performances of Swank Legs and Wannabe Girls. They are such funny drags. Actually, they show no fear nor embarrassment during the show. That is quite Dharmic. It is to reveal your inner self, your inner girl!

They worked really hard!

Something embarrassing happened to me last night. As I was about to go back to my table to get some food. I found out I was at the wrong table. I was literally glowing red. HAHA!
I have discovered a sport that is really fun to play. The sport is golf.Uncle Martin taught me the basics of golf. Uncle Martin is very kind as he bought all the equipment. He took a lot of time out of his usually busy schedule to spend time for me as Mama can't spend that much time with me. I am very happy for him to keep me company and I really like the outings.

Golf is very Buddhist as you have to learn discipline and focus.Just like Buddhism, when we have the tools ( the Lam Rim), we must have a teacher then it is our choice to pick what we want to do to with it. To play golf, you need to practice a lot or else you will not get good at it.

On the first day of our outings, we went to MST golf shop. He showed me the basics of golf there. He showed me how to hold the club. The way he taught me to hold the club was the Interlock Grip. Over the next few days, I found out that it was the same grip that the famous golfer Tiger Woods uses.

The next day of our outings, We went to the driving range. There I saw some kids who are so much younger than me, they look like professionals. Uncle Martin told me that people at any age can join this fun sport of golf. It just requires the right discipline.

After I whacked a few balls, a professional coach came up to teach me how to hit using a nine iron. He told me the correct positions. He laid some powder on the ground and told me to hit it. It was actually quite hard to hit it at first but I managed to do it later.

After the coach was done, Uncle Martin taught me another trick in golfing. We should keep our eyes on the ball but do not follow it as it lifts off.

As the day ended, we went to the Boathouse Restaurant. I some pasta. After I ate, I went upstairs to play snooker with some Australian teachers that teach part-time in Gardens School.
As we were about to play a game of Pictionary, Mama called me to go home.

Today, My neighbor, Uncle Daniel and I went to the Sunway Lagoon Amusement park. We went to water park. First we went to the wave pool. Then, we went to Surf Beach. There were no waves at Surf Beach, so there were no surfers.

I also conquered my fears of tall and dark water slides today. I went into a water slide with Uncle Daniel. I was screaming the whole way but it was fun. I really want to thank him also for his kindness as he left an 8 month pregnant lady at home just for me. I hope he will take care of Aunty Erin well.

I wish that Uncle Martin, Uncle Daniel and Aunty Erin can have a nice, long and joyful life.
Lately, I have not been writing, sorry about that...

Firstly, I have been commenting on the blog of His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's blog. The URL is here:

blog.tsemtulku.com

I hope many people will visit it as it has many interesting articles related to Dharma, Buddhas and also UFOs! Isn't that insanely cool? When people have free time, they should go to his blog. I like the articles on Rinpoche's pet dog named Yogi a.k.a Mumu and Oser, the new addition to the Tsem Ladrang family. These cute little doggies are the first few steps for the Kechara Animal Sanctuary to manifest so that they can help many other little animals.

I think I done around 80 comments that are over a hundred words. I written over a hundred words to show that I actually read the post rather than comment on it for no reason whatsoever.

Well, as the school holidays were over for a long time already, I had a did not really have a lot of time to do all this but I still wanted to do it because I knew it was absolutely the right thing to do!

My Exams have passed already, only a few grades came back, some were not exactly pleasing for me. I will write them below:

Chinese Geography: 55% Improved by: 27%
Math: 65% Improved by 9.5%

I will update the rest sooner or later.
