Yesterday, in the morning, Mama and I went to Sunway pyramid because Mama had to volunteer in Kechara Paradise. I decided to have a walk around Sunway pyramid. I think I lost around 60 calories.

At night, I went to a concert of a singer that is even before Mama's time ----- Boney M. ( trust me she is not boney haha). I had a nice dinner at the concert and her singing was so good I danced till my legs were falling apart.

After that I went home to go to sleep at 12 a.m

Now for today, Today I did not do anything because I mostly stayed at home. But today still has a short story.

I went to Labodega for lunch, After that, I went to look for a birthday present for me that is below RM500. The closest thing is a nintendo ds lite. Mama will think about it. My birthday is next week. :)

I would also like to publish my children story that I have written.

I have not thought of a name for the story yet.

Once upon a time, in a small house, in the village that’s very small, there lived three brothers. Their names were Happy, Sad and Angry.
Happy was always very happy. Sad was always sad. Angry was always grumpy and angry whenever you see him. Sometimes, Angry is a bit evil.
One day, Happy, Sad and Angry were going to their grandmother’s house.
Before they could reach the house, they had to walk through the forest. Happy said: “ This forest is no big problem because I know that I will be protected by my mother’s wise words.” Sad said: “ The forest seems so dark and gloomy and I think there might be thieves hiding in the bushes.” Angry said “ Sad, you are much more timid than a mouse, you… you… ( He was thinking of something to insult sad but he is not that smart to think of so many words). Happy finished Angry’s sentence with : “ I think what Angry wanted to call you was a “scaredy cat”. For once, Angry actually agreed with Happy.
When they crossed the forest, the went straight to their grandmother’s house. The only problem was that Angry dies not agree to go straight ahead. He thinks there is a shortcut behind the trees that are very old. Happy said: “One of Mothers advice was : there are no shortcuts in life, they are mostly detours that might lead to unfortunate endings.” Angry angrily said : “OK..”
Upon arriving their grandmother’s house, their grandmother was already waiting for them at the front door.
Later, their grandmother gave her grandsons three cups of tea. Happy got the perfectly right cup of tea and drank it down happily. Angry got the hottest tea. The second the tea touched his tongue, he started cursing and then he poured the rest of the tea out of the cup and the tea went right on Sad’s lap. Sad moaned. Grandmother got a new pair of pants for Sad. Sad was happy for a second. Then, his tea arrived. It was freezing cold. But Angry said: “drink it! Or else you will be a scaredy cat forever.” Happy thought : “ Angry is really evil but how can I stop him….. AHA…. I got an idea”
But Happy was too late Angry already forced the freezing cold tea down Sad’s throat.
A few hours later, Sad felt horribly sick and no doctors were around. The same day, Sad has passed away. Happy then became very sad. Angry became happy. Angry was thinking of a plan to get rid of Happy so that he would become the “man of the house” .
A few years after Sad’s sad death, Angry suffered from heart failure and too passed away. This made Happy very sad because he lost his only two siblings.
One day, a tiny bird called Garuda flew by, seeing Happy so sad, he decided to fly down and talk to him. Happy explained the whole situation to him. Garuda said : “ I can revive one of your siblings. Which one do you pick? I also need a reason why you picked one and not the other”
Happy said: “ I shall pick Sad because he did not do anything wrong in this life and was helping out all the charities and he also done many other meritorious deeds. The reason why I did not pick angry is because he is the total opposite. He is rude and mean. He actually shooed away some of the homeless at our house who were asking for food. He also caused a lot of trouble in the house. Finally, He murdered my younger brother, Sad. Those are my reasons. Will you grant me the wish, please?”
Garuda said: “ Yes, I shall. But there is a catch to it. The catch is you have to sacrifice something.”
Happy said: “ Will sad be younger when he returns?”
Garuda said: “Yes”
Happy decided: “ I am frail and old the world does not need me anymore. I can’t do any thing for the society. So, I wish to sacrifice myself”
Garuda was impressed and said: “ I shall grant the wish. But you still got a long life to live. I shall let you live and I shall also let you become younger so that you and your little brother can help the society.”
Sad was revived, Happy is happy and young, Angry or as Happy calls him, Evil is gone forever and they lived happily ever after.

The End
Yesterday, I was helping a little in KMP ( Kechara Media and Publications ( the office that Mama works in ). Other than that, I was continuing to do my assignment. Mama taught me something new. The thing she taught me was : joyous effort. My concept of joyous effort is that I should happily work for the Dharma now and forever.

At night, just as we were about to have dinner at Boathouse ( a very tasty restraunt in TTDI ( Taman Tun Dr. Ismail ( KL, Malaysia ). Mama had to go to Ladrang. So, I also followed. When we arrived, we went upstairs to Aunty Beng Kooi's office and waited for H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's phone call. After a few minutes, the phone did not ring. Later, we ( Aunty Jamie, Aunty Susan, Aunty Feng, Uncle David, Mama and I) were sent to the Bam room downstairs. While we were waiting for H.E. Tsem Tulkue Rinpoche to come down, we just chatted. We were chatting about going for a Nepal Pilgrimage or going to Tibet.

After a few minutes, H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche came down ! YAY!! H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche was talking to Aunty Jamie about the awesome new book covers for her book that Rinpoche really loved. H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche also gave a Dharma talk. The part of the Dharma talk that I loved the most was that you must take a happy feeling when going to work thinking : "I will succeed, I will have success" Then, the Karma for you to succeed opens. H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche payed for our delicious dinner at Boathouse and Rinpoche also bought tickets for the movie New Moon. I loved the movie. It just has less action than the first one. It so happened than I wrriten on Facebook that I wished that I could watch New Moon :)

I woke up at 10.30 a.m. and had to have a nice shower and then I ate some cereal for breakfast. I had to do them quickly because my tuition teacher was coming. Originally, we( the tuition teacher and I ) planned to go to the Chinese International book fair at the mines convention center but plans have changed because i wanted to attend one of the other events that I will write about here.

After tuition, Mama and I went to Bangsar Village to have some lunch. I had shrimp salad and sheperd's pie while Mama had a different salad only.

After that, Mama and I went to KMP because Mama had some work to do at KMP. So, I chilled out at the Dhi room.

After Mama finished her work, we went to TTDI park to liberate birds. Upon reaching the park, we just got a briefing then we walked up a flight of stairs then we chanted some prayers then we released the birds. Unfortunately, One of the birds died. I think I might be one of the few people who cared that the bird died. As I could see, all the other kids did not bother whether the bird had died or not, they just continued to play around.

After the Animal Liberation, Aunty Su Ming treated everyone with cake from secret recipe all the kids got chocolate milkshakes.

After that we went to Tsem Ladrang. I played with Yogi ( H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpche's dog ). Yogi loooooooooooooves to kiss me. After that, we ( Mama and I) went home.

Lately I have not been writing my blog because I was lazy and I was having fun. While I was having fun, I now have a lot to write :)

The day before yesterday, I went to the dog party again. This time, after running around in circles I actually was rewarded by Aunty Susan. The reward was a small cup of milo. The main reason for coming today was not only to let Jannic have a nice walk and have a party. There are two main reasons for coming here today. One was to let Jannic "refresh" her memory for commands like : stay, break, heel etc. The other reason was so that Zamkar could be toilet trained because he will pee on suitcases or sneakily eat some food that was not meant for him.

In the evening, I had a choice between having tuition or going to Uncle Thierry's house. Of course I chose to go to Uncle Thierry's house.

The house was so beautiful. The place surrounding the house was soooooooooooooo refreshing and natural. The living room of the house is soooooooooooooo good looking. The kitchen is sooooooooooooooooo advanced.

They( Uncle Thierry and Uncle Andrew) also have a little garden for organic vegetables. They also keep six very adorable dogs.

At the house, Aunty Susan, Uncle Thierry and Mama were having a meeting regarding lamrim. While waiting for the meeting to finish, Uncle Andrew and I started making a Soufflé . The Soufflé came out peeeeeeeeeerfectly. ( I seem to have a problem with italics I shall be writing in italics from now on in this post ( I guess) ) TheSoufflé was eaten with orange and chocolate ice cream.

After that,we went home and I went to bed.

On the second day, I went to a farewell party that was held by one of my friends called Naomi who is moving to Australia next year. Actually I was not really invited but Zachary invited me.

Zachary picked me up when we both went to pay the Kuen Cheng High School school fees. After that we just played Battleship. Then we found out we were late. We rushed to the party.

I swam and swam till I had sunburn. Then the pizza came! The pizzas I ordered for the party ( because it was potluck ) were classified chicken and BBQ chicken.( Poor chickens )

After that, we went upstairs to just chill out. Later, one of the kids spat a small, very quickly melting ice cube at a persons car accidentally.

Later, the owner of the car came up and brought the head of the management office of the condo and the security guards up just to scold us saying that there is a very biiiiiiiiig dent on the car from the tiny ice cube. Later, he said he wanted the kids IC number, Address, Name etc. The man actually threatened to call the police.

After that, we were trying to find ways to protect my friend because he did not do anything wrong other that dropping a very small, slowly melting ice cube that went out of place because it was blown by the wind and hit the car.

Later, when we went through the facts, we found out that the ice cube hit the windscreen. I wonder how can a windscreen being able to have a veeeeeeeeeerrrrrry biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig dent caused by a small, slowly melting ice cube.

Also, when we checked out the car, there was not even a scratch on it. The car was a LAND ROVER. How can an ice cube the size of a 5 sen coin cause a big dent on a LAND ROVER.

Hail is a frequent weather in international countries that are far away from the equator. I doubt that whatever car that goes in those countries with hail will have biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig dents.

Later that day, the guy came back and happily said: " you better do that again ok :P"

I am very sorry for all the people who wanted to view my assignment. Why? Because I have to move my assignment to a Microsoft Word just in case the internet in my house suddenly got destroyed.

Today was a fun day. Why? Because my friend came over.

In the morning, after Zachary ( my friend) reached my house. We took Jannic ( my dog ) to a special dog party.

I just went to do some exercises there because it is at a park.

After that we reached home and Mama and Aunty Susan had to go for a book club. So, for lunch we made two pizzas and they both failed. They were not brown enough but tasted like as if it was cooked though. :)

After that, Zachary and I started making a video. The video hopefully might be uploaded on Youtube.com :)

After that, we waited until Mama and Aunty Susan came back by playing chinese chess and reading a book.

Hope you will like my blog.

p.s. my blog will be shorter from now on because the lamrim is not written here anymore.
Today is my graduation day from Kuen Cheng (2) Primary school.

The first part were a few speeches that I did not understand because it was in advanced mandarin.

The first person who gave the first speech was a Year 6 student to represent the Year 6 students who are graduating ( all of them ). Her voice was very soft until I could not here a thing she said.

The second person who gave the second speech was a Year 5 student to represent the rest of the students in Kuen Cheng (2) Primary school. Her voice was softer and softer than the first person...

The third and fourth person to give a speech was the headmaster and a representative for the teachers and parents society.

After that the just passed out some trophies to students but I did not get any at all.

After that, were some performances and the last performance was the performance I had to dance in and I was on the first row ( sitting ).

After that we returned home to drop off aunty Susan. After resting for awhile, we left off to collect Kak Umi's passport.

After that I had a nice vegetarian lunch with Mama and Kak Umi . The food I had were olive fried rice, butter fried mushrooms and sliced long beans with nuts.

After that, we reached home to find out that Aunty Rosa came to our house in KL with her baby. Her baby was veeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrry cute.

I got an announcement to make. I have understood what is cause and effect. It is because it goes by whether I want something good. I have to work hard for it. Then I finally get the effect.

Another thing is I think that MJ is not dead. Why? because why would 911 hang up a phone call. Also, the ambulance that left the house had no sirens.

Later today, I visited Tsem Ladrang. Then I found out that there was a very coooooool gift for me. The gift was a Star Wars Collectible: A TIE INTERCEPTOR! H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He is a great teacher. He taught me many things. I can still remember one of my first gifts from Rinpoche, it was a Tsongkhapa Tsa Tsa. He gave it to me during one of my first Dharma talks. He was talking about Tara. He was saying that if you even take everything away from Mother Tara, she will not slap you or be angry at you because she is very kind and compassionate.

After That, Mama, Aunty Susan and I went to see H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's new tortoise. Her name Kadro. We also went to see Itchy, Scratchy and Garuda( three rescued birds ). After that, I went home.

I shall continue with my assignment of retyping Day 10 and 11 of the book : LIBERATION IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND.

Je Tsongkhapa said:

Everyone thinks, "Death will eventually come." Yet they keep the evil thought, I will not die today," right until they are on the point of dying.

You grasp on to the idea that you are not going to die, and think," Oh, I could practice Dharma next year or the year after." You are forever procrastinating. You think about Dharma but do not practice it; you remain engrossed in thoughts such as, " I want this valuable object." Meanwhile, while you are not practicing Dharma, your human life is running out.

[THE DRAWBACK THAT] YOU WILL PRACTICE BUT NOT PRACTICE PROPERLY ( 125 )

At the moment we are Dharma practitioners, but because we do not ignore this life's trivia, our practice is not at all pure. We study and contemplate, yet unintentionally want to be scholars, or famous. We meditate, do recitations, and so forth, thinking this will remove life's unfavorable circumstances.Even great meditating hermits are not free from involuntarily wanting to be famous, and so forth. As great Atisha said:

Ask me what the results of thinking only about this life are and I will tell you: they are merely the results of this life.Ask me what will happen in your next lives and I will tell you: you will be reborn in hell; reborn as a hungry ghost; reborn as an animal.

In other words, you will achieve a few resultant benefits in this life, and your next lives will result in your going to the lower realms.

If you act like this, you are no different from a lay person. A Dharma practitioner must first of all ignore this life. I am not saying you should become a pauper; even paupers in their wanderings do not ignore this life. The things you should ignore are the eight worldly concerns. Anything mixed with these concerns are not Dharma. The yogi Chagtrichog asked Atisha," Should I meditate? Should I teach ? Or sometimes teach and sometimes meditate?" Atisha said to each," this will not help." Chagtrichog then asked what he should do and was told, " Give up worldly things."

Lama Gyamaba said:

You fools, you haven't succeeded in a single type of practice,
Yet you are proud of being Dharma practitioners!
See whether you have the first of all Dharmas
In your mindstreams: ignoring this life.

As Geshe Toelungpa once told another : " It is good, my lord, if you practice generosity, but better still to practice generosity, but better still to practice Dharma itself." In other words, Dharma and worldly things are opposites --- even in such actions as these.

Geshe Potowa said you cannot sew with a two pronged needle. If you do not think of death, you will not ignore this life. If you do not ignore this life, you will be controlled by the eight worldly concerns: being happy if you acquire and unhappy if you do not; being happy if comfortable and unhappy if not; happy if famous and unhappy if not; happy if praised and unhappy if criticized. Nagarjuna said of these eight:

By the eight worldly concerns we mean:
the worldly thoughts of acquiring or not,
Comfort or discomfort, fame or notoriety, praise or criticism.
Keep a level head : These are not subjects for your thoughts.

I hope to keep in touch with all my fellow friends. I will miss them

Today was a horrible day. When I received my exam results, the results were not only bad. It was worse! I actually failed an exam that I prepared so much for. I was so sad, I was crying in school. Later, because I was crying so much they actually had to send me to the school counselor.

The school counselor is a very good teacher. She told me that one failed exam is not the end of the world( which I thought was). She convinced me that what everyone expects is not always what they will receive ( I had to learn that the hard way). The way she taught me stuff is by using gems, toys and sand only. She managed to tell me that truthfully life is sometimes unfair but we have to deal with it and go on with life and hope that next time things will be better ( I seriously hope).

When I reached home, I was crying again after I called Mama to tell her the bad news. I could tell that she was very disappointed because of my bad results. I also noticed I will be working even on the "holidays". I am also very sad because I let down Mama, Aunty Susan, H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, Por Por and many other people.

I hope everyone could forgive me for what I have done and I hope that in the other exams I will do better. By the way, now I could not cry anymore because my eyes are too dry. So I shall express my feelings in text.

:'( I am sad :'(

I already completed my prayers and my offerings. I also have finished my 100 prostrations. My tuition is at 6 p.m. ( Malaysian time)

So, now I shall continue with my assignment of re-typing Day 10 and 11 of the book: LIBERATION IN THE PALM OF YOUR HANDS!

TRAINING YOUR MIND IN THE STAGES OF THE PATH SHARED WITH THE SMALL SCOPE (119)

This has two subheadings: (I) developing a yearning for a good rebirth; (2) teaching the means for happiness in your next rebirth.

DEVELOPING A YEARNING FOR A GOOD REBIRTH (120)

This has two subdivisions:(I) remembering that your present rebirth will not last long and that you will die; (2) thinking about what sort of happiness or suffering you will have in your next rebirth in either of the two types of migrations.

RECALLING THAT YOUR PRESENT REBIRTH WILL NOT LAST LONG AND YOU WILL DIE(121)

This has three subheadings: (I) the drawbacks of not remembering death; (2) the advantages of remembering death; (3) the actual way to remember death.

THE DRAWBACKS OF NOT REMEMBERING DEATH (122)

There are six sections here.

THE DRAWBACK THAT YOU WILL NOT REMEMBER DHARMA (123)

If you do not recollect death, you will think about only this life, get caught up in its many demands---food, clothes, and so on --- and thus not practice Dharma. If you recollect death well, you will work hard to prepare for your next lives, just as a Khampa about to go on a journey would work only at preparing and packing. Your enormous craving for food, fashion, reputation, and so on, can be blamed on your not remembering impermanence. Every day that passes without recalling impermanence is a day of your life wasted.

THE DRAWBACK THAT YOU WILL REMEMBER [THE DHARMA] BUT NOT PRACTICE IT ( 124 )

I shall write until here for now thanks.( more secret text)

KECHARA MEDIA AND PUBLICATIONS ROCKS!

Today is a very big day for me. I am so happy today. Why? It is because I managed to pass the Kuen Cheng High School entrance exam. As a reward Mama will take me out for dinner :)

Most of my friends made it, some did not apply and some failed :'(

Today, I came home in my school bus as usual. One of the kids were chanting :" 2 more days of seeing Sean's face " Even though I think the kid is insulting me because I have two days of my current school left, I still think it has a bit of a tune and seems to rhyme. HaHaHa( sarcastically)

Upon reaching home, I had a tasty lunch of pork and chicken feet with rice. ( By the way, I am not vegetarian. I only don't eat beef). After that, I went upstairs to my room to do my prayers as usual and do my water offering.

After that I went downstairs to do my 100 prostrations. Then, I started to write my blog.

Now, I shall continue with my assignment of retyping Day 10 and 11 of the book :" LIBERATION IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND"

You must be farsighted from the beginning. You must feel," I am prepared to use my entire human life to pursue just one meditation topic of the lamrim." But we are farsighted about worldly things, which is the wrong way round. Lack persistence worldly things, non the Dharma. If you feel, " It's impossible not to achieve anything in Dharma" and practice with courage, you will not have to spend a month or a year on a single meditation topic.

Geshe Kamaba said:

We say,"Our contemplations achieve nothing." Why do you think that is? Don't lie: you are distracted in the daytime and fall asleep at night!

In other words, never mind our spending a month on a meditation topic; we have not even meditated on a single topic for the length of a single meditation session. How unrealistic to feel, "Even now I haven't developed realizations!" We don't make determined practice our starting point, yet we roll our eyes into the top of our head [and pretend to meditate] when we do just one recitation of, for example, [Tsongkhapa's] Basis of All Good Qualities. If we act in this way, our wish to develop insights and realizations into the lamrim is an extremely greedy one. This is where the fault lies.

Karag Gomchung Rinpoche, a Kadampa, said:

Look far ahead. Be farsighted. Be in tune.

These three things are vital. The meaning is that you must look far ahead to the goal of omniscience; be farsighted about the small and medium scopes; and meditate to reach the right pitch or tension. Your practice, too, should be at the right pitch. When you receive the Dharma orally from your guru and then practice frantically for a few days with superficial renunciation, this is a sure sign that you will make no progress.

HOW TO EXTRACT THE ESSENCE FROM YOUR OPTIMUM HUMAN REBIRTH (118)

This has three sections: (I) training your mind in the stages of the path shared with small scope ; (2) training your mind in the stages of the path shared with the medium scope; (3) training your mind in the great-scope stages of the path.
