It has been a long time since I have written. Now I got a lot of things to write about.

Well, firstly in Singapore and the rest of the world. The time I am writing now would just have became New Year. So, Happy New Year. Now it is already the start of the Year 2010. Make the most of your life in the Year 2010 by doing things that will benefit others.

I should start to type about the first day of my Singapore Holiday trip but I shall tell you some details. This trip was sponsored by the most generous and kindest man and Guru I have ever met, H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. When you think about your Guru, think of him of one with the Buddha. Any Buddha will be fine as long as it is the one you mainly practice on, for example for me it's Lama Tsongkhapa.

Ok, now I shall start to type on the first day of the trip. On the beginning of the day, Mama, Aunty Susan and I had to run some errands. Firstly, we had to send Jannic to the vet for heart worm treatment. After dropping Jannic off, we went to the post office of Telawi. While waiting for Aunty Susan to do the stuff she needed to do in the post office, I bought Subway sandwiches. I had a chicken teriyaki sandwich while Mama and Aunty Susan had some sort of Salad Sandwich. After that, we went Singapore. It was a very long trip.

When we reached Singapore, the first thing we did was to go to our hotel. Our hotel was Hotel Re! It is a very colourful hotel. The room was quite small though.

After that, we went to the Singapore Night Safari. When we arrived, the place was quite packed. We went for the Creatures of the Night Show. The show was quite cool with very entertaining hosts and very cute animals too. The show ended with a special message regarding the environment. They invited some animals up onto the stage to recycle some stuff but it was quite cute the way they put the rubbish in the cans. One of them was fooling around with the tin can. The host asked the trainer what it was doing. The trainer said checking. The host asked checking for what? The trainer said checking for expiry date. It was so funny. After that, they finally completed but there was a problem, no one picked up the plastic bottles. They were actually meant for another animal but it was too shy. SO the host ended up picking up the plastic bottles. At the end of the show, we were in for a treat. There was a special deal for one of the souvenirs. The souvenir was a snow leopard toy. The souvenir which was originally $22 was now for $10 for the first 10 customers. I got it!

When meeting the animals during the walk through the forest a.k.a zoo, we chanted some mantras for all the animals. You can chant the Medicine Buddha Mantra. Which is Tayatha Om Beckanze Beckanze Maha Beckanze Beckanze Ranza Samughate Soha. You can also chant Nangyalma's Mantra. Which is Om Droom Soha. Kindness towards animals is very good. It is the same with all sentient beings. War brings nothing, it just takes lives. Not just people but animals too. You must know that every sentient being would have been your mother,father, dog,cat etc.

After that, we went to Singapore's 24 hour mall, Mustafa. To me it was kind of a Mamak Mall :|

After that we went to a vegetarian restaurant. I had a cheese tosai and a chocolate milkshake.

The next morning, I woke up early because I could not sleep. So, I started to read my book until it became a bit brighter in the sky. I asked Mama for the key and I went downstairs to take a walk around. People were eating their breakfast. They were mostly foreigners. I gotten hungry. So I went upstairs to ask Mama whether I could have something to eat. In the end, I started to eat some instant cup noodles.

After that the day truly began, we went to Sentosa Island. Firstly, we went to have some lunch at Delifrance. Then we went to the underwater world. It was very interesting. There was even an audio tour. I accidentally dunked the audio machine in the touch pool so it ended up broken. I went to return it and exchange it. I took the tour around. It was very interesting. Some people think that fish is vegetarian. Does it look like a vegetable? No, Right! Fishes swim!!! They have gills. Eating fresh fish like picking the crab/lobster out of the tank and tell the restaurant people to cook it.

After that, we went back to Hotel Re! After that we went to Clarke Quay. It was a very cool place. They had a bungee chair. Aunty Susan played a game called the pick game. I hate to be the victim of the pick game. What is the pick game? It is just a game where the victim is given two choices. The choices are each bad. In this case, very bad. Aunty Susan sounded like she really meant it and wanted to force me up to the bunjee chair but I was too scared. I don't like to go on stuff like those. The choices she gave me were go on the bungee chair or cut off my toe . I don't like either. If you go on the bungee chair you will not feel your legs. If you cut of your toe it would hurt but it has the same result . That is my perspective. That shows that I actually have a weak mind. But never mind that, time to type about the next day.

The next day was Aunty Susan's Birthday. * Blows trumpet*

We went to the Tooth relic temple. It housed Buddha Shakyamuni's Tooth. It also kept Shakyamuni's Intestines, eyes, brain ( he has a colourful brain which has like 4 different colours ) etc. I do not know how they know which is which. To me they all look like tiny balls!

After that, we went to Orchard Road. I just learned how to pronounce it. The ch is not pronounced like a K. We originally went there to see the lights. Instead we went shopping. After, 3 hours of shopping, we went to a Japanese restaurant. Unsurprisingly, there was little things that were vegetarian but it is the only restaurant that sells something vegetarian.

After that, we went to see the lights a bit. They were like big balls of light floating in the sky.

After that, we went back to our Hotel. The first thing we done was get a cake for Aunty Susan. Then we sang the Happy Birthday song.

~~Happy Birthday Song~~

Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Haaaaaappy Birthday to Aunty Susan,
Happy Birthday to you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now we waited. Waited for what?We waited for New Year. We did not get any count down. There were no fireworks but a new year is a new year. Mama told me that New Year is just another day, It is just another day closer to dying. I know that is true.
Today is our last day in Singapore. I think later we are going to Bright Hill temple.
Hope you like my blog!!!!
Today was a veeeeery fun day. I went to help out in Tsem Ladrang.
I woke up quite late. I went to the kitchen to have a nice bowl of Banana Nut Flavoured Cheerios. Yum! After that, Mama and I was on our way to Tsem Ladrang. Tsem Ladrang is H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's household. All the Ladrang staff work almost 24 hours. That is alot of hard work.
When we reached the gate, Mama dropped me of at the gate. I waited at the guard house to get in because I am a visitor. The guards at the Ladrang are very good they work like 24 hours a day too!
The first thing I done was i went to the big bird cage and tried to feed the birds. In the end, the birds that I was feeding wanted to make a meal out of me -_-
After that I went to help clean the turtle pond.
My final work was to help out to roll up the khatas. At first, I done it but it was ugly. So it had o be done again. I went to help Uncle Kennie for awhile whilst Melissa ( Tsem Ladrang's most hardworking kid/teen ) re-rolled the khatas. In the end I also help to re-roll the rest of the khatas.
After that we had to just chill out in the gift room while Uncle Kennie and Aunty Su Ming left the room to do something really important.
After that, I had some dinner that consists of pizza,rice,scrambled eggs, veggies etc.
That was my trip to Ladrang.
I want to show you a neat trick I am not sure whether it will work for you but it worked for me.
Step 1 : Place your fingers is the position below.
Step 2: Place that position of your fingers very close to your eyes.
Result : You might see an extra finger.
Hope you like my blog. If you think its cool please comment
Yesterday I went to watch the Legend of the Conch Shell, the Lama Tsongkhapa play, again after watching it for the first time on the premiere night. The show on the premiere night was good but last nights was better in many ways.
The improved sections are :
  1. " The demons who try to attack TsongkhapaUnfo" scene is improved because it was added a flashing picture of a skull in the background meaning that the demons where trying to make Lama Tsongkhapa so scared of death, he would stop doing the Dharma but the demons did not succeed.
  2. They used more confetti in the scenes.
  3. The characters show up more often.
  4. "Presents by Kechara" on the title screen is replaced by "Kechara Presents"
  5. The actors acted lovelier
  6. I was a bit of the critic of the first show , I really enjoyed the last show :)
Unfortunately I think that the aifm dj who was the mc still has room for improvement.
At the end of the show, people had to give flowers to the four main actors,backstage crew etc. When Uncle Lai walked to the centre of the stage to bow and when he was about to return to his place, Uncle David came to him with a bouquet of flowers to give to hid father. I was so touched, I almost felt like crying from tears of happiness. Later, I had to give a bouquet of flowers to the actor who played Lama Tsongkhapa.
After that we went to a christmas party. Then there was a mini "debate" about whether animals are meant to be killed for food or not. I thought not because that animals are meant to be killed for that reason I think it is just that out of the enjoyment of chewing on the juicy flesh of the animal. Imagine roasting your mother, your father or whatever living being you love the most, then later you take a fork on and stab it into their dead body and putting the meat in your mouth slowly chewing all the fat and meat. Imagine that!
Chicken egg can be considered vegetarian, duck egg too, but caviar is not. Why? It is because you have to hurt the fish by squeezing the eggs out and most of the time the fish would die from the proccess of taking the eggs and some might die from being to weak after getting squeezed. Imagine you are pregneant and then some big guy comes and takes a big machine and throws you in it, the machine squeezes out your baby as slowly and painfully as it can would you like that!
After that, we went home and I "pengsan" on the bed and slept.
Hope you like my blog. Please comment if there is anything you want to correct me at etc.
Lately I haven't been writing my blog. Sorry to all who were waiting for my next post.Well now I have got quite a long story.
The First Day, Friday
Friday was just like an average day to some people but the truth is it is Lama Tsongkhapa Day !!!!. All the people of the Gelugpa tradition (Yellow Hat tradition). The people are not a hundred but thousands.
On this auspicious day, H.E. Tsem Tulku gave a Dharma talk. I felt so happy. Rinpoche said that even at the Dalai Lama's palace many people do there to offer oil for the butter lamps or the butter lamps itself or together . (well i guess you get my point ( This is my thought ))
Well, Rinpoche said something that really touched me. He told the audience to meditate for two minutes about how many people has benefited you. After the two minutes, Rinpoche told us to meditate another two more minutes to meditate about how you can repay them the favour. I have learned many things for the dharma talk. I learned that if you don't help others after they help you, after a few times, they will get sick of you and they will go away. If you go away from friends who were rich at first but in the end became poor, they would not want to be friends with you anymore. That was when Rinpoche was talking about the topic :" LOYALTY "
I found the teaching so interesting. In fact, I loved it.
The Second Day, Saturday
Today was TGIMAAS day. What does TGIMAAS stand for you may ask? It stood for THANK GOD IT'S MAMA AND AUNTY SUSAN day.
I woke up at 5 a.m. to do housework for Mama and Aunty Susan but things did not work out as planned. I fell asleep and woke up at 6 a.m. I cleaned the kitty litter. I wiped the windows and tables. I fixed up a BIG bowl of Cheerios Banana Nut Cereal for Aunty Susan. Later, she did not finish it because it was too much of a big bowl.
I also made some toast and half boiled eggs for mama and a small bowl of Cheerios Banana Nut Cereal. The only problem was I cooked it a bit too early. Mama still wanted to sleep. So in the end it became cold :(
I was supposed to wake her up at 9 something in the morning. In the end, she woke up by herself at 10 a.m. The reason I did not wake her up is because I was "busy" playing my Nintendo DS that I got for my birthday. I am very sorry.
After that we went to Sunway Pyramid. While Mama was working in Kechara Paradise Sunway Pyramid, I was walking around looking around.
I shall write info about Kechara Paradise Sunway Pyramid here :
Name : Kechara Paradise Sunway Pyramid.
Short Form of Name : KP Sunway Pyramid
Location : Sunway Pyramid. Near Osim shop. Near Orange Atrium.
My views : IN THE PYRAMID, TREASURES ARE ACTUALLY FOUND !!!
The Third day, Sunday
Today, Manjushri Kids Class organized a trip to Sunway Lagoon. We first went to the Wildlife Park. The Animals there were so cute. But, I have to remember, they are captured and are feeling pain from being captive. You can see some of them go near you to "speak' to you, it is not that they like you, the animals are actually crying their hearts out hoping that you will help them. Some of the students recited the Medicine Buddha Mantra : TAYATHA OM BEKANZE BEKANZE MAHA BEKANZE BEKANZE RANZA SAMUGATE SHOHA .
The second part was that we went to have lunch. After that some kids broke up into smaller groups. The first place I went to first was the WATER PARK. The WATER PARK was quite fun. The only problem is that at the surf beach. There were no wave . Very annoying. I am sorry if it is offensive to Sunway Lagoon but no waves really stink to me. I could design something a bit better when I grow up I hope. Once again sorry of being offensive towards the Sunway Lagoon.
After that I went to the DRY PARK. I tried to walk up the stair to go up to the roller coaster but I was too scared. Later, I went up with Mama. I was horribly scared. I actually lifted up from my seat. Luckily there were seat belt or else I would be dead by now. HAHAHA. After that scary ride, I went on the scary ferris wheel. Scary? Not really but, it looks like as if it could drop anytime. Why? It was shaking. Why it was shaking? My friends kept on shaking it. It was also scary because it stops halfway and once while I was sitting down, everyone tilted the cart to one side. I already forgot why they leaned to one side.
Later , Alex and Zachary ( my friends ) went in to the SCREAM PARK but I was too scared to go in.
The Fourth Day, Today, Monday
Today was a nice day at the office. Nothing much to say here. I just finished my tuition homework.
Hope you like my blog. I shall give you a challenge. The challenge is to count how many words are here in this post ( Including the ending words ). The answer is secret but it is on this page. Also, feel free to comment on the post or you can write the answer.
Answer is :941
Tomorrow is my birthday. But I am going to be in Penang during my birthday.
The story for today will be about my birthday dinner and my trip to my friends house after that.
The day before yesterday, Mama and I went to buy a cake from Alexis. The cake we bought was a bittersweet chocolate cake. I actually asked for a chocolate mousse cake but I was told that a bittersweet chocolate cake is much tastier.
After that, we went back to office. Mama then selected a "Secret Recipe" cake for me.
After that we went to Kechara Oasis. We were thinking that we were the first to arrive. But when I arrived, Uncle Andrew and Uncle Thierry arrived. It was such a good surprise! HAHAHA.
Uncle Andrew and Uncle Thierry helped to decorate my bittersweet chocolate cake with M&M Mini's.
After that, the rest of the guests started coming. After the guest came, they all chatted. Then, the tasty food came. YAY!.
The first course was a "Lobster" Salad. The other courses included "fish" and many others. Finally, they brought the cake in. Everyone started to sing the "Happy Birthday" song. Then I blown the 12 candles on the first cake and the 3 candles on the second cake.
After that, we drank some champagne together with the words : " Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam Seng!"
After that, Joshua, Edward, Beatrix and I went to walk around the mall.
Once the party was over, I went to Joshua's house to stay overnight.We played till slightly late at night. By the way,Joshua has the new game called "Left 4 Dead 2'. It is a zombie game. It is a first-person shooter game.
We woke up quite late yesterday morning. After being fully awake, it was time to go to have lunch. We went to a place far away. I ate a plate of chicken rice. The chili that I put on my chicken was so spicy.
After that we went home ( as in Joshua's house I mean ). I discovered a game that can encourage vegetarianism. The game is called : " Cooking Mama : Mama Kills Animals" It has bonus features including links to the " Meet your Meat" Video and other videos that encourage vegetarianism.
I also got rickrolled by my friend. What is rickrolled? That question I am sure that some of the people who read my blog may ask. Rickrolled is actually something that will happen if you go to a website like : www.1227.com. It will play a music video of Rick Astley. It was a pain in the neck for alot of people because that prank was used on alot of Youtube users.
Hope you like my blog. Thank you!
