A nightmare.

I had a nightmare last night. I like to take note of these because the last time I had a nightmare was a year ago.

This is what happened. I was on my way to this building with Brandon Choy and Samantha Chan Xievern . The building was white on the outside and all TRON like on the inside with Black walls and coloured outlines. There were many doors. Sam told both of us to go through every door. So we did.

Each door had  a unique puzzle. Usually of pressing buttons or pressure plates on the ground. They all had beautiful effects. I felt as if I was in a videogame and that made [.....]

Hipsters

A great day to you all.. Today, I will be blogging about something that could be mildly controversial but I think I want to share it so... TOO BAD! The topic that I am gonna be writing about is as the title of this blog post dictates: "Hipsters".

According to Wikipedia and it's multiple user-editable sources, Hipsters are described as:

"  A subculture of young, recently settled urban middle class adults and older teenagers that appeared in the 1990s. The subculture is associated with independent music, a varied non-mainstream fashion sensibility, liberal or independent political views, alternative spirituality or atheism/agnosticism, and alternative lifestyles. "

Essentially, a bunch of youths who are showing off their hormonal angst via not following popular trends or as they call it, "The [.....]

Elfen Lied

*WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD*
Hello everyone, hope everyone had a good time since the previous blog post! Recently, I have finished reading the Elfen Lied manga series. I have to say it was an exceptional experience.
Firstly, I would like to give a brief mention of the person who recommended me this literary work of art. His name is Bradley. We became friends due to being in the same Buddhist center and being in the same Buddhist class. We frequently discuss not only Buddhism but [.....]

English Essays (Malaysian Education System)

Today, I received the results for an English essay that I had submitted to my teacher a month ago. I was extremely disappointed with the marks I had received.  I got a 28/30. I know, I know, it seems like it is a very good mark. Before I explain why was I disappointed despite being two marks away from a perfect score, I will explain what I had wrote.

The topic of the essay was "The Person I Admire". Naturally, I wrote about His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche.  The contents included how Rinpoche [.....]

A short story

A long time ago, there was a beast, a beast like no one has ever seen. It had the body of a cow and a snake for a tail. The most peculiar thing about this beast was that it had not one, not two but five heads. Each head was shaped like a bird's head. Each head was a different colour. One was red, one was blue, another being green, the other being yellow and last but not least, was the odd one out, the one in white. They named themselves according to the colour they are.

One would image that being born of the same body would make these birdbrains live harmoniously but they quarrel and [.....]

Anger

Today, I am going to be writing about Anger. How anger is a poison and how to prevent anger will be the main two topics in the post.

Firstly, I would like to mention that I am not a person who is constantly angry and if anyone is capable of making me angry, they possibly caused the coming of Satan to arrive a few millennia early. I am just kidding. However, when I was a young kid, I was normal, I did have my temper tantrums. The only one I remember though is when I wanted a bubble bath and my mother denied me of that experience. So, I got angry and began to bawl and do what normal [.....]

Balloons.

When I was a little boy around the ages of 5-10, I used to love and hate balloons at the same time. I used to love it as it was like a companion which was always in a colourful mood. It used to make me feel happy.

However, I used to hate balloons because I noticed that the Balloons started to deflate and it felt as if my 'friend' was going to die. This was, of course, before I was really into Buddhism and my [.....]
